I finally found some time to watch this episode straight. He was amazing in BC. I didn’t knew he was multi talented with gymnastics, boxing, singing, hooping. Too bad about the knee situation.
I didn't even know about this guy but I just watched a ton of his highlights and he's basically a stronger more athletic Allen Iverson with some curry. for sure at least a 4-5 time all star with a curry ceiling .
What I love most about this video is that Troy Bell is a forgetten monster that kind of just faded out of the spotlight BECAUSE he couldn't carry on what he did in College to the Pros. So his story is glazed over. Salute to not only covering this man, but giving him a platform. It's good to hear some of the harsh truth about the league and how going pro isn't always in the cards for everyone, and sometimes it's more than just about not being good enough! Good sh** bro!
As a basketball fan growing up south of Boston Troy Bell was a legend. He changed Boston College and made them a legit program. I was devasted when they lost to USC that year. College Basketball will never be the same it was so much more legit then
