    Bose sucks. I sell their stuff at a big box retailer and I have started not recommending their products due to lack of support while maintaining premium pricing. Unacceptable.

    The problem you are having can be resolved if you disconnect the usb turn off headset then when you come to the updater page telling you to connect the headphones via Bluetooth then connect it. Problem resolved. Your closing the tabs to allow firmware to install

    Ur adapter us probably decreasing the signal strength so it doesn't recognize the headphones

    Bose solution to my power problem was to buy a new headphone!
