A lot of people don't realize this awesome hidden detail in this game. When you get on the bus, the guy looks at you because he's looking at the stalker behind you. Also a lot of people didnt see the stalker on the bus when it drives off. You aren't supposed to see him behind you, which is why the screen fades to black instead of allowing you to walk on the bus yourself when you enter. And why you can't look at the seat behind you when on the bus.
Vintage style horror games are so scary, there's something so unsettling about damaged and broken up things that have been left to decay, its awesome! Good job Chillas Art!!
Honestly, yeah. I sometimes go back to the original Resident Evil just because there’s something unsettling about the lack of geometric detail. Love it.
I believe the stalker actually killed the baby, since as seen in the game, the woman was rude to player, and then the stalker punished her by killing her baby.
When Cory does the voice acting for the dialogues it actually makes you feel so much more immersed into the story. SOMEBODY GIVE THIS MAN SOME DIALOGUE

@@whydoidothis676 honestly, as is i’ve been a little anxious working there because some men have been creepy with me before & disrespected me after telling them i’m not interested. i also work the night shifts mostly, and i don’t drive yet still, so i either get rides from my coworkers or my mom & i have 2 pepper sprays, a siren, flashlight & a key knife if something were to happen to defend myself :) i sadly think it’s scary in general to go anywhere alone but you can’t show that you’re vulnerable or scared. but overall i enjoy my job & have coworkers who are very helpful and protective of each other 😊

Spoilers: for people that didnt notice, there is actually two different "stalkers". the first stalker is the long tall guy with the creepy face, who we are introduced with at the beginning that we helped return his phone. we see him after we get off the bus, and also when he comes into the coffee shop once and doesnt buy anything and just sits the whole time and then leaves. the second stalker is the man in the hoodie. he is the one that creepily stands outside the store windows as we talk with the old man at the register. he also then comes in and orders pastries and a bunch of milk, and sits in the blind spot of the store and leaves the photo of us on the table. it is then revealed that HE is the one who has been living in the back of the store. so in conclusion to clear things up, the phone guy stalker, is the one that actually physically tries to attack us and depending on what ending you get, murders us; and the second stalker, hoodie dude, is the milk guy that was snapping pics of us and living in the store, but doesnt actually physically harm us. you can tell they are two different men bc 1. their faces are very different (hoodie guy is much younger looking and generally has a nicer looking face) 2. phone stalker guy and also the one that jumpsacres us at the closing sign (and eventually attacks us) is like 6'6" whereas hoodie milk guy is only around 5'6". you can tell the height difference by comparing when each walk into the cafe and walk past the bookcases by the door! 3. their clothes Anyways-just thought i'd share this since i dont think i've watched one lets player who actually came to this realization that there were two different stalkers!

I remember when this video first came out, my step brother who loves cory had just got out of the hospital and i had to visit him. It was a perfect coincidence. He was so hyped. And we enjoyed it. Remember to enjoy the moments and memories with the people you love before they become memory ♥️
I’ve been thinking this for a while, jump scare games only scare on the jump scare, but this game managed to keep me creeped out with the abrupt music cut offs, foreshadowing music, and the dialogue, this game was amazing, and btw, the scariest thing to me is when someone is running toward the camera
This game, The Karaoke, Parasocial and The Kidnap. Are definitely the scariest Chilla’s Art games because they are so realistic because it’s not a ghost or anything paranormal it’s real person and that’s scarier than anything else on this planet
To everyone scared by this, I hope you realize this is a real fear for a lot of women. I never had a stalker, but I've been harassed by men basically since puberty, and a few times I felt real danger. One time in high school while walking home alone I was followed by a man trying to get me in his car. I was relieved when he drove away only to realize he parked ahead to wait for me. I got very lucky because my neighborhood was right there and he drove away when I turned into it, but I'll never forget how fast my heart was beating. The scenarios running through my head of what might happen next and my body getting ready for a fight if I needed to. I was followed for a whole block. The total experience was maybe a few minutes, but it was terrifying. I can only imagine the mental toll experienced by people who have to feel that fear for day and weeks, maybe even months. edit: hi I had no idea this comment had so many likes! Thank you guys for the nice replies, I promise I'm safe. I commented this so that ppl could learn from my experience and I hope its at least helped one person

Respect to Cory noticing that lots of women have to go through this and the constant fear of being stalked. Not only young teenage girls, but also adult women. I agree that men can be stalked, but it happens to them considerably less frequently than it does to women because men are more able to defend themselves ( not all cases but in most ). as an 18 year old girl who works at a coffee shop with other young adult girls, this game is kind of scary accurate to how unsettling it is to close the shop at night, they did a really great job with atmosphere. a couple times i’ve had to take out the trash to the dumpster by myself AT NIGHT (keep in mind our dumpster is a good distance from the shop, so not like this game) but it felt very similar to this game’s feel lol
get yourself some pepper spray. they can be found in many places and some types leave a residue that highlights the attacker to the cops (i got mine at a knife shop with my ex) if you have a strap on your uniform, you can get a holster for it and attach it, so if you ever have any trouble, you don't need to dig around. hope this helps at least a little!
Cory, you didn't get the "bad" ending, because every ending of this game is a bad one! You got two out of three. The only ending you didn't get was sneaking out into the parking lot via the bathroom vent and getting into your car. The stalker sneaks into the back of your car and jumps out to grab you before coming to a black screen. No matter what you do, you get a bad ending in this game! The sad thing is, it's realistic for people who have had stalkers.

This game was beautiful. The art was surreal and the storyline was well done! My theory is that the man at the beginning that we give the phone to is the stalker because later in the game one of the notes says "She talked to me. She picked up my phone and went out of her way to give it to me." Then when we actually see the stalker, he looks just like the guy from the beginning.

From this playthrough I know that Cory is a person who really aware of his surroundings. He notices the things that most of the people who play this game don't. Like when the stalker was on the bus, the big screen(?) outside the cafe, the scream he heard (that he knew it was the investigator), and he also notices when the investigator didn't come back for a while. 42:11 i learned something wild about this particular part: the man that turns his head isn’t looking at the player, he’s looking at the stalker who’s sitting in the very back corner of the bus. edit for clarity: i’m not 100% sure that this is the truth, i just read a few things about the games lore and that came up a few times.
The "Idol" at 47:00 is shifty too bc sometimes predators will enlist other women to groom/lure in women and girls to traffic them. We have to be wary of *everyone*, not just creepy men.

Something I realized about the scene where the man was looking at her on the bus, he wasn’t looking at her, he was looking behind her at the stalker. The stalker was on the same bus, we saw him staring at us when getting off. That truly shows an atmosphere.

I love how this game touches on how being stalked by one man leads to thinking everyone is. She sees her stalker in the back of the bus at 12, 5 but another man looks at her in a plaid shirt, later reappearing in the shop. This man is never to be seen again(unless he is the shirtless man.) Then her stalker shows up walking by outside the window when Plaid shirt sits down. Cory is shown getting anxiety claiming, "we can't trust anybody.." And "They could be working for the stalker."
it was honestly disturbing seeing someone move behind the bushes everytime the cameras were checked, it was also more disturbing to see other warnings, like the man on the bus was probably looking back at the dude in the hoodie, not the girl, and the girls in the shop talking about a man being outside, those were all like warnings but sad to see no one actually out right tell her

This game sure does give you an insight of how being stalked is and feels like. You start to check your closets and rooms, your boss who is a jerk seems far of a better choice than being all alone, you wanna rush everything

for people that didnt notice, there is actually two different "stalkers".
the first stalker is the long tall guy with the creepy face, who we are introduced with at the beginning that we helped return his phone. we see him after we get off the bus, and also when he comes into the coffee shop once and doesnt buy anything and just sits the whole time and then leaves.
the second stalker is the man in the hoodie. he is the one that creepily stands outside the store windows as we talk with the old man at the register. he also then comes in and orders pastries and a bunch of milk, and sits in the blind spot of the store and leaves the photo of us on the table. it is then revealed that HE is the one who has been living in the back of the store.
so in conclusion to clear things up, the phone guy stalker, is the one that actually physically tries to attack us and depending on what ending you get, murders us; and the second stalker, hoodie dude, is the milk guy that was snapping pics of us and living in the store, but doesnt actually physically harm us.
you can tell they are two different men bc 1. their faces are very different (hoodie guy is much younger looking and generally has a nicer looking face) 2. phone stalker guy and also the one that jumpsacres us at the closing sign (and eventually attacks us) is like 6'6" whereas hoodie milk guy is only around 5'6". you can tell the height difference by comparing when each walk into the cafe and walk past the bookcases by the door! 3. their clothes
Anyways-just thought i'd share this since i dont think i've watched one lets player who actually came to this realization that there were two different stalkers!

To everyone scared by this, I hope you realize this is a real fear for a lot of women. I never had a stalker, but I've been harassed by men basically since puberty, and a few times I felt real danger. One time in high school while walking home alone I was followed by a man trying to get me in his car. I was relieved when he drove away only to realize he parked ahead to wait for me. I got very lucky because my neighborhood was right there and he drove away when I turned into it, but I'll never forget how fast my heart was beating. The scenarios running through my head of what might happen next and my body getting ready for a fight if I needed to. I was followed for a whole block. The total experience was maybe a few minutes, but it was terrifying. I can only imagine the mental toll experienced by people who have to feel that fear for day and weeks, maybe even months.

as an 18 year old girl who works at a coffee shop with other young adult girls, this game is kind of scary accurate to how unsettling it is to close the shop at night, they did a really great job with atmosphere. a couple times i’ve had to take out the trash to the dumpster by myself AT NIGHT (keep in mind our dumpster is a good distance from the shop, so not like this game) but it felt very similar to this game’s feel lol

Cory, you didn't get the "bad" ending, because every ending of this game is a bad one! You got two out of three. The only ending you didn't get was sneaking out into the parking lot via the bathroom vent and getting into your car. The stalker sneaks into the back of your car and jumps out to grab you before coming to a black screen. No matter what you do, you get a bad ending in this game! The sad thing is, it's realistic for people who have had stalkers.

One of the scariest things about this game to me is that it is a real thing and it happens daily I bet.

im pretty sure the stalker is the guy from the start who cory gave the lost phone to. theres been a lot of murder cases where women are stalked and eventually killed for being polite to men which leads them to becoming infatuated with her. the game represents this reality well since all the mc did was give him his lost phone but he becomes obsessed with her.

I love how this game touches on how being stalked by one man leads to thinking everyone is. She sees her stalker in the back of the bus at 12, 5 but another man looks at her in a plaid shirt, later reappearing in the shop. This man is never to be seen again(unless he is the shirtless man.) Then her stalker shows up walking by outside the window when Plaid shirt sits down. Cory is shown getting anxiety claiming, "we can't trust anybody.." And "They could be working for the stalker."
it was honestly disturbing seeing someone move behind the bushes everytime the cameras were checked, it was also more disturbing to see other warnings, like the man on the bus was probably looking back at the dude in the hoodie, not the girl, and the girls in the shop talking about a man being outside, those were all like warnings but sad to see no one actually out right tell her

This game sure does give you an insight of how being stalked is and feels like. You start to check your closets and rooms, your boss who is a jerk seems far of a better choice than being all alone, you wanna rush everything

Yeah. He has so many subs now but still hasn't hired an editor because he wants us to have the best viewing experience. He is such a hard working, funny and goofy youtuber. I started watching him a long time ago and am still watching him. He is my favourite youtuber of all time.
