  • Well, things went wrong during teardown all due to a stuck bolt and then my attempt to salvage it!

Thanks for the video. I will probably invest in a Ribe bit set before I attempt to dig into mine.

Mine injection pump has those one piece vane pump blades. Having a heck of a time getting it running despite going through it in the most meticulous way. Just not getting pressure. Tracture was running before and then just died while running. It had the rubber/plastic thing on the weight wheel, at one time but it was completely gone. I replaced it with the one piece wheel.

I can’t remember the exact size but you’re supposed to use torx bit and before you try to loosen it strike the bolt with a hammer just a good jar , good luck

No, it's not a torx bit. It's called a Bristol bit. They sell them for about $40! I'll take my chances with an Allen wrench, lol! It was just ridiculously seized.

Yeah, it didn't happen on any of the videos that I watched but I have seen comments from people who did break them. The right tool MAY have avoided it, not sure.

@@skookumsawmilling7653 I've been told that even with the correct tool it can sometimes break.

I was holding my breath with that flange in the vice, they just look so fragile.

Yeah, it would be better to have a plate to bolt it to and clamp that in the vise. But it actually felt plenty stout and you definitely don’t want to clamp the body in the vise!
