      In my experience, most people that say 'sorry for my grammar, English is not my first language' have better grammar that a lot of native English speakers because they are actually putting thought into their grammar.

    I remember! The mushroom and bamboo snacks had an entire Splatfest dedicated to them in Splatoon! But only in Japanese Splatoon, of course. I also love Ramune! Even if I always need my boyfriend to open it for me...

    Honestly, snacks from Japan are amazing. I was lucky to sample some at a convention. If there was some kind of loot box with Japanese snacks, I'd totally get one. Even the packaging is awesome; so fun and interactive. ❤

    they sell ramune here in oklahoma, and i love it so much. i have to go to the mall to buy them though. its a lot more sweet i feel like than regular soda. so thank you japan for making this delicious drink that i hold dear to my hear, because you bring me and my friends closer together :D

    I had a 2 hour layover in Tokyo in 2019. The airline/airport had hard candies in a bowl. People were taking one or two. I grabbed a whole handful. Hahaha. I'm greedy. 48 years old and I still love my candy. I assumed they were made in Japan, they were good.

    I’ve actually tried Ramune and I really really liked the blueberry flavor it cuz in North Carolina I forgot were it was at but it was a Asian market and other snacks like konpeito

    I appreciate that with snacks in Japan when they flavor something like fruit they actually take pride in what they do and actually make it taste like the fruit. In America it’s more so like “Well… we think it vaguely tastes like this fruit so we’ll just say that is what the flavor is.

    There is an anime about dagashi shop called Dagashi Kashi there are two seasons every episode is usually about one type of candy or drink.

    I get a box of Japanese snacks every month and I LOVE umaibo. Every time me and my friend open the box she always spots the umaibo(if it's in there) and says well I know what you'll enjoy

    Ah! So in Splatoon 2, there's a splatfest, or a fest as it's called in the Japanese version, that has two sides fight against one another. One of the Japanese splatfests was mushroom mountain vs bamboo shoot village! I had no idea what that meant because of regional differences but now but your explanation answered it! Thank you! Oh, and mushroom mountain won btw :)

    One of the kids as a "lisp" meaning he has a hard time pronouncing hard R sounds. So when he said "flavoe" he meant "flavor"

    I tried authentic Japanese snacks before through a special delivery service here in Germany, and honestly, they taste very good.
    Many flavors are more natural than those you get here, but the soda seems to be much sweeter than ours.
    ^^ but very enjoyable, can recommend trying it through a speciality store, travel or delivery

    7:06 I live in the England and there's a shop called Wing yip it sells Chinese and Japanese items . When me and my sister went to Wing yip and me and my sister love lychee so we got the lychee flavoured ramune

    In the Nagatoro anime Senpai is supposed to bring these mushroom snacks for the girls but instead he brings the bamboo village. Good to know that these products are legit and have a rivalry :D
