Imo one of the more underrated players. Most people just know him for beating MJ in the dunk contest, but they don't realize he was one of the absolute best scorers of the 80's and early 90's (including a scoring title) who also put up amazing rebound numbers for an SF and developed his game to be a good player even when he lost that explosiveness. They also don't realize how nasty of an in game dunker he was, like wtf what did the rim do to you Nique
U smoke weed m8? Most people know who he is, but he is rarely recognized for his extraordinary playing career. Most people just know him from beating MJ in the dunk contest, not for scoring 25+ PPG and 6+ RPG in 9 straight seasons, or leading the league in scoring, or outscoring Larry Bird in their head to head matchups, or being a 9x All-Star and 7x All-NBA seclection

Still, a Lakers-Hawks 1988 NBA Finals would have been super entertaining, maybe the equivalent of the 2006 Mavericks-Heat NBA Finals for that particular era: two uptempo teams with offensive stars who can score from anywhere: In 2006 it was Wade vs. Nowitzki.
