6:39 "Highest level Muay Thai instructor in the United States."
Since when is Muay Thai ranked? With Muay Thai, you either know it, or you don't. Your "rank" is how well you perform in fights. And your merit as an instructor by the quality of your students.
Either he is fibbing, or his instructor fibbed to him.

I think when he refers to Mark Delagrotte as “Highest level Muay Thai instructor in the United States”. It’s because he’s trained multiple ufc fighters like Kenny Florian, and Stephen Bonner to name a few. I also remember seeing him as the Muay Thai coach for one of the Ultimate Fighter seasons.

The one thing that hurts the martial arts more than anything else is ego. The belt ranking system makes the problem 100 times worse. You only need 2 ranks, Intermediate, people with at least 18 months of training, and Advanced, people with at least 3 years of training. Beginners don't need a belt and everyone already knows who the head instructor is. Rank shouldn't be about memorizing forms, it should be about your fighting skill. Not only how good your offense and defense is but how you handle yourself when in danger. Are you able to stay calm and control your fear ? Fear causes tension and that is the last thing you want in a fight, plus fear can make you move backwards when the best thing to do is move forwards. I've seen many "black belts" lose to lower ranked fighters. You will never get rid of belts because that is where most of them money is made.

Aussie Fabo no because how the hell are their 13year old kids and younger with black belts and can't do a split or pushups correctly like taekwondo is so deluded these days. when l see the kata preformed in majority of taekwondo videos l find with kids under 15 is the lack of energy and no type of form or sloppy but to those who actually earned it good job
