Just curious, why doesn'r more people use this glue method instead of the traditional horse shoe? I've read the nails doesn't hurt the horse feet, but is there a reason as to why some people prefer glue and some stick to tradional horse shoes?

The pros are lesser impact on the hoof and legs, can walk better over asphault and concrete, and is less invasive than a "usual" shoe. The cons are the need for a more frequent change of shoes thanks to wear. Hope this helps!

She was a good horse putting up with that hoof buffer.
Deer wear their feet down naturally, yet riding horses do a lot more work than wild animals with hooves. Therefore shoes stop the hoof from wearing down too much, which can be painful for a horse.
I like the way this guy comes out to the job, fully prepared to do whatever it takes. I would hire him in a heartbeat.
This is such a neat alternative to metal shoes. What a cool idea. I’ve also seen glue on shoes that are more like tennis shoes/shock absorbers.

Tip on putting a tube of w/e that was on a caulk gun. Put the bottom piece in before the top. Will just slide right in.

These shoes are glued on and have rubber, traditional horse shoes are nailed on (doesn't hurt the horse).

The crack is superficial, my tb gelding has one at the moment, it's absolutely fine as long as you keep an eye on it and let it grow out.
