- Howdy all
In this video we encounter the Drell assassin named "Thane Krios" for the first time. In order to have this type of conversation you need to complete the first Mass effect and do a side mission in it. Otherwise you will have a conversation which is a bit shorter.
As for my character, occasionally he has some weird facial expressions, but tht is to be expected. He's also imported from the first Mass effect game. Other than that there's not much else to say. I used the Paragon options in this clip.
Hope you all enjoy.
Big thanks to Bioware! We are all waiting for Mass Effect 3. Take your time :). - Ігри
Thane is one of the most awesome characters there. He establishes himself as one huge badass from whatever one says and doesn't fail a single expectation when he finally appears on screen. Killing three guards with the grace of a ballet dancer right before giving his target a rather dignified pose and giving her a prayer. Also his line of wanting to make the universe a better place... pure poetic gold!
Always thought it was funny how Jacob, who chose to work for the terrorist organization known as Cerberus, had such strong "moral reservations" about working with the assassin, Thane.
And he said nothing about Jack, who, at that time, was a walking biotic bomb about to explote at any moment. Or Kasumi, who's a thief. Or Zaeed Massani, who's a ruthless bounty hunter.
reckon jacob is just a racist
And Thane didn't cheat on femshep.
Jacob was a contradiction and a hypocrite. he was a decent person who wanted to protect humanity and knew Cerberus often crossed the line but ignored it and focused on the ' good ' it sometimes did because of the Alliances soft approach to the citadel races
literally the badast and most awesomeste scene intro for a companion character to meet you!!
Seriously, it's award worthy.
That entrance
Awesome how Shep notice Thane before everyone, and he's just biding time to allow Thane make his entrance.
Who else took thane on every mission in the game.
Thane and grunt! The rest don’t even come close
Not that it actually mattered, but I tried not to take him on missions that involved moist climates
me: I'm in love with an alien~ I'm in love with his eyes~
'Thane: I'm Dying...'
me: #BI *flips table*
Bioware literally wrote: "we designed Thane, and by extension the Drell, based on what women would find attractive in a man in order to make him an enticing romance option"
@Peteru69
Then they forgot about him in ME3, lmao 😅
An Assassin Is A Weapon, A Weapon Doesn't Choose To Kill.. The One Who Welds It Does.
I'm an assassin
AstroTooCold unlike a weapon (from what we know so far), the assassin does have a coincince so I disagree.
That statement is truth
@@ncrvako assassins are killers some of them are paid Killers who are weapons for the ones imploring them they will kill who they are told and pay to kill some assassins have morals so yes Assasin is a weapon a weapon does not use to kill the one wielding it does
@@Fallout4277well, when the assasin chooses a paying job that is too deliberately kill people, i think it counts as a choice. is like saying a maid is a cleaning tool when her job is to clean and chooses to do so. offering your services does not makes a tool, but a servant or a mercenary i this instance.
Thane is one of the best squadmates ever.
“If you plan on killing do it cleanly” -Thane
Hearing that quote made me immediately think of this scene
Thane is a real "head turner"
2:48 Randomly the best facial animation in the series.
Man I'm a badass
Yes you are
Among all the kills in that scene, I think the throat punch is the one that made me jump. He grabbed the back of the dudes neck and pushed him forward AS he went for the jab for maximum impact, that dude is probably suffocating out on the floor by choking on his own blood
And to think, now we get to see thane die... IN 4KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
noooooo
0:56 Look at that merc, she is absolutely terrified. Kinda feel bad, most people who become mercenaries didn't have the stuff we take for granted in a normal, decent upbringing.
I guess you can say our relationship developed at a "breakneck" pace
😂😆lol
2:15 Miranda sure has that space to Thane's right (left from POV) covered.... :D
2:23 Shepard steps almost directly in front of her gun #militarytraining
Thane is by far the best character in my book! Here’s hoping he’ll look at it in the remaster!
Emmm... Jacob is complaining about Thane... While he works for Cerberus? Really?
jacob was always one of those characters I could do without.
@@TheShootistJacob was the new Kaiden.
This scene compared to "HI IM PEEBEE."
Thane : *Drops from the ceiling and snaps Peebee's neck*
Thane : "Not anymore."
Oof
Layoff peebee love her character
It was at that moment I knew I was screwed.
Heh.
In 7seconds he killed four people
Thane is badass
Good choice of scenes, perfect editing. +10
That voice 🤤
Iconic moment
Long live the best character in me3
After this I was like....bitch, Kaidan who!?!?
why can't we get games like this anymore. Simi open worlds are so much better written.
Me2 was like playing the star in an action syfy movie. loved EVERY minut of it.
just look at how well this scene is crafted. camara lighting ETC. 2010 was a good year
It happened the same to other media: mediocre writing and lazy storytelling. They don’t put any heart.
MASS EFFECT TRILOGY REMASTER INBOUND
What an entrance
How is it that some videos featuring meeting Thane has Nassana all surprised that Shepard is alive, while others has her totally expecting the Commander?
Khanmanlol i know I am 7 years late but it depends on if you played the first game and did her side mission
imported game
Verrry late but it’s all got to do with how you proceeded with Nassana and her quest in the first Mass Effect. The way it’s done here is that you’ve met her in the first game and completed her quest.
i really wish there was a way to save her
Great Job! @ 3:42
Thane is by far a top tier character. He and Mordin are the best written characters in Mass Effect and better than most games' characters
Spoilers:
Their deaths filled me with so much sadness. I almost cried during the prayer scene in 3
Thane is basically Alien John Wick.
@partypoison141 its part of "Alternate Appearance Pack #1" that Bioware released
@Khanmanlol It depends if you played the first Mass Effect game and imported all of the choices you made in that in to Mass Effect 2. Search for "Mass Effeck wiki" on google for more info.
your Shepard looks awesome whats his face code thing
I think I actually prefer the look of your Shepard to the default. The default... Can't describe it. Maybe he kinda reminds me of a fuckboy or something?
Great designs of characters bros, Mass Effect is to the eleven of the Star Wars videogames make of Lucas Art... Like to me see one movies of this universe sic-fi.
*O* Can we please get your facecode! Shepard looks awesome! =D
Thane should of responed with "I don't like extremists, yet here I am" when Jacob said he hated mercenaries
He doesn't because he has class, something Jacob doesn't know a thing about.
And that's why we crush on Thane, not Jacob (except for Kasumi lol)
I had forgotten how poorly this game has aged.
OMG!! WHY?! WHY??!! WHY DO YOU ALL CHANGE SHEPARD FACE?!
"why do you all use a feature that developers included in the game?"
Because default shepherd looks like Donkey Kong
