Fixing a stuck button on a Roku remote

Hello all ROb here back t the jack of all traces master of none, Recently the Tv remote for our TCL Roku tv broke. We have insurance and they said they would send a new remote right out to us for our TCL roku tv. BUT IT WOULD TAKE A WEEK FOR US TO GET IT. A week with out our 55 inch TV in the front ROom. It was a stuck button. I figured I would try and fix the TCL ROku TV remote control myself. I could not believe this ROku TCL tv remote was so simple in the inside. one little circuit board. If your tcl tv remote control button is stuck you might want to try this to fix it.

Thanks, wasnt sure where id need to wedge it and didnt want to break any of the remote trying to get it apart. One of my gel buttons was like 90% compressed down and made clicking up on the pad really annoying, fixed it by taking it apart and pushing it back out. (i think it happened cause i laid something on the remove for a few days without noticing, so try not to do that) lol.

Fse I took mines apart to fix volume button but it’s just broke and the little piece won’t go back on. When finished I put the remote back together! And now it won’t work at all! 😩 Any suggestions before I buy a new one!? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Thanks

Hey rob do u have any suggestions on buttons that are hard to press down? that are stiff? I got the same remote...need to get them loosen some how specially with the arrows buttons..

I realize this was like 8 months ago so I'm sorry that blows, but same thing happened to me and I used a paperclip to put the smallest amount of superglue on the tips that stick into the motherboard and held it in place for a few minutes with tweezers and it seems to work ok for now. Maybe just temporary.
