Tissue paper textured background

wonderful method.
i was just going to do this using "construction paper to create a textured surface on top of a piece of wood.
i will now also include tissue paper for finer texture elements!
i will also use "dry brushing", chalk, ... something (similar to your use of the oil pastels) to add some highlights - or shadows before sealing the surface.
