It's not clear what you mean by just writing dc, inc or 2dc dc inc because in row 3 and row 4 they both increased 12 stiches. If you make your writings clear it's a great tutorial thank you for this
Hello! Thank you for the feedback. I will try to include additional instructions in the abbreviation part of the video! :) Regarding your question, the "dc" is a normal double crochet done in 1 st, the "dc inc" is 2dc in 1 stitch, whereas when the pattern says "2dc, dc inc", it means you do 2 separate double crochets in 2 consecutive stitches, and in the third stitch, you do 2dc in 1 stitch. Hope this clears it out!
I’m not sure what you mean by lightweight yarn. Do you mean DK or just a light #4 weight? Or lighter? Thanks for any help. I’m hoping to make a pillow cover to give to my oldest son for his birthday. 😁

@@365daysofdanaThank you so much for your reply!! I was really confused too and this really helped!!
Do you have a written version of this? Some of your directions are a bit confusing in the video
thanks for posting! in round 3, when you chain 2, is the double crochet then put into the same stitch as the ch 2?
Yes! The ch2 at the beginning of the round does not count as a stitch.

What pattern did you use for the orange and black one ?
What size hook did u use?
I used a 4 mm crochet hook.
