Cool! Question.. any reason to remove the drywall? Can you just go over the drywall with the 2x4 and drill and screw it. I guess it would be plenty strong? Or the void behind the concrete and drywall is an issue? Maybe Im wrong in Canada most houses has wood framing and we would do this over drywall with horizontal strapping or 2x4.
Hi mate. With this project was just one reason to go back with fire as much we can to save extra few centimetres becouse it was important for our customer. Normally we go over existing plasterboard which gives little bit more insulation I think.😅
@@DaWidDiY hi mate. I can't seem to get a decent fix with my timbers on plasterboard wall what do you use? I wanted to fix to breeze block but even the 120 screws arnt doing it
That TV is stuck on pretty flat to the wall? So I’m thinking of something like this but don’t want to install a TV on the wall just yet but have the setup so in future I could simply cut out the plasterboard where the socket sits and connect up the tv…?
I was wanting a fireplace in our room and this was perfect. Super easy to install and easy to follow directions. My children love changing the colors on it as well.
