I have the newer model the h2v2s revo extruder and can’t find a UA-cam video explaining how to build/install it on my biqu b1 and the “instruction manual” does not help whatsoever. Please help!!!! I’m stuck
Hello, I need help to be able to install the H2 extruder in my biqu B1. Today it arrived but it is not very clear in the video the connection on its mother board. Can you help me with this part? The last thing I need is that. How to connect the cables in the mother. In the video it is not appreciated well From already thank you very much.
I just got the H2 V2s Revo and was wondering if you could hep me with what I will need. Were you able to install the H2 on your B1 SE plus? I have looked all over and can't find a video show what is needed to install it on a B1 SE Plus
uh.. I ordered this and waited for it to arrive.. and now I see i need some adapter board and a fan... this should be mentioned clearly in the Biqu shop when buying the item.. there is a list what is in the package, but no mention what is missing!
Also the adapters did not work for my Biqu so I had to make some workarounds. Now I finally set the E-steps and tried to set BL-Touch and noticed homing the axis does not work anymore...
Do you also have a tutorial for the dual-fan mount? My friend printed me the two-fan variant and I'm having trouble figuring out which part goes where.
At 2:29 the video says to connect the cable of the 3510 fan into the red plug of the board but we can clearly see that it is the 4010 that is plugged there. It can be confirmed again at at 2:44. What gives?
So why can't we just use the breakout board for the heater and thermistor? Are they too powerful? or are we able to just use the write plugs and plug it in?
@@frequencylim 3Ax24V 72W, seems overkill for a heater so it should fit i guess... I bet this is just because we need to cut down the wires to length and they didnt wanted to show it there... But would be great to have an official answer
Agreed, what a silly design. Surely someone in the tech team MUST have seen this and Thought....Hmmmm Might those dangling wires get caught in the print? I know, why don't we turn the motor 180 degrees and reverse the wiring?? Or Did they think that at all and it missed out on any quality control/Testing???
@@richardswede right? I've been asking it since a while back during their livestream but they never responded. There's no way I'm risking buying this extruder if I can't flip the motor. I think it's forced into this orientation.
@@T4nm4y I was watching this video for the sole purpose of buying and fitting one of these, but will NOT now buy one until they turn the motor round 180 degrees. Come on BIQU, you are amongst the very best company in developing and selling printer add ons and your new ventures into actual printers are to be praised, i love my B1 far far better than my Ender 3 and CR6-SE, and who does not want to own a little yellow Duck LOL! So come on sort this one out (Please)??????
I am a proud owner of a BIQU Hurakan. But! The print head and the extruder are JUNK. The two smallest fans (one on the print head, the other inside the case), are also JUNK. So I want to upgrade the print head. QUESTION: given the Hurakan's print head mounting design, will this combined unit work with it?????
Thanks for the instructions! It was not clear that it is motherboard in the video where cables must be pluged in. I for example have never seen the motherboard :D Now I am trying to figure out how to unscrew printer case and how easy it will be to drill hole in the case for new cables.. Edit: Don't need to drill new holes, can reuse existing one. Included motor cable can be plugged in other way around- then instead of Loading material, it gets unloaded. It can be fixed by switching cable around.
Very frustrated that I now have to buy and adapter for a BIQU extruder to work on a BIQU printer. It looks like I need to get it from AliExpress which means a month or so wait.
It's not demonstrated very well in the video, but the adapter is the one included in your current assembly. Unplug everything from your existing printhead assembly then unscrew the adapter from the existing carriage. Use this adapter in the new carriage mount designed for the H2.
@@andrew5821 Unfortunately, I needed to replace my existing print head because the limit switch on my keep breaking. So I had to get the new parts anyway. But the good new is they arrived today (2 weeks) instead of a month!
@@michaelperez6811 In my case it actually is broken. The plastic slot where you clip in the metal piece is broken and the piece no longer stays during a print. I just needed it in long enough to home the extruder. But the new extruder is working well, but it was a major PITA to install since these instructions are not accurate and I had to search the internet to get a part that would work. I still need to add connectors to the cables so they will plug into the board on the extruder instead of running all they way to the motherboard, otherwise the range of my extruder is limited to the length of those cables. Sigh... You would think their extruder would work best with their printer.
Hi, I recently read about it and I think it's the same USB c provided for the biqu B1. Keep in mind that the cable it's modified for the hot end, so it might be the same one. Cheers!
@@ramirezkine5704 Hello. Thanks for the reply, however you seem to have misunderstood my question. I was asking about the circuit board, not the cable. :-)
@@design8studio I believe they plugged the wires directly to the SKR board (aka the mainboard). It sits inside the metal case (bottom of the printer). They conveniently plugged the wires into the board that was removed from the printer and didn't had any other connections, I guess just to show the idea. Dunno how am I supposed to put the wires inside tho. Dunno if it's still relevant after 1 year
Easy, just hang it off the side like the afterthought it is!!!!! It uses a PTFE core heat brake so yes, in this configuration it will not work above 265ish without melting it’s guts out!!!
This is a terrible and outdated tutorial. The STL files on the Biqu website have been either deleted or are not even compatible with eachother. You cant use half of the video

The Fan Duct in the Video no longer in the Donwload Folder package?
2:28 is this the "hot end fan" right here? Cause this is not the port that is always on - this is the fan that gets controlled in slicer/touch screen.
Can you add a BLTouch mount to this?

It appears the bracket for the H2 on B1 STL file has been removed from the BIQU support site.

Has there been any luck in finding the STL for the mount?

I know they say adapter board, but I think it is just the board scavenged from inside the original hotend
Por qué razón no puedo conectar la resistencia y el termistor en la placa del carro directamente?. Como viene en la B1. Quedaría más prolijo.
There are two set screws (grub screws) which hold the hot end. What thread are they?
Is the upgrade kit for the biqu hurakan compatible with the biqu b1?

@BIQU Can the HOTMODE breakoutboard handle the current of plugging the h2 heater into it?
The extruder motor cable looks like it hangs quite low, can the motor be rotated to change this?

How to install the BIQU H2 Extruder and Dual-Z Kit on the ( BIQU B1 SE PLUS )- 3D Printer?????.
Should make this video for an ender 3!!!
What do you need to upgrade to get 500 degrees?
b1 se plus也可以裝嗎?
BIQU needs to put the stl file for this style fan mount back on their website. The only one available on their website now is a flimsy POS.
What is the type of the fitting for PTFE tube on the top side?
You skipped over wiring the board, you go super fast. This video is useless.
