I made the Easter basket cake a few years ago! I did pipe on buttercream instead of using fondant and I found yellow Twizzlers licorice and cut off the ends and threaded them over the coat hanger for the handle. Turned out really cute and everyone was impressed.

Thanks for the suggestion!! We do have some shorts planned all week long leading up to Easter but we wanted to launch this early for those who wanted to try to make them as they'd need time to prep and make it before/leading up to Easter

Thank you for sharing a whole story of the Easter Bunny hiding eggs and children collecting them through cake. My favorite is the Easter basket cake because when you extrude fondant it reminds me of when our daughter was small, and we gave her a Play Dough Factory as a gift. It allowed her (and us because her mom and dad had as much fun as she did with it) to change a face plate and extrude ropes of Play Dough with differently shaped exteriors. Come to think of it, that would be an interesting cake challenge. Can you extrude fondant ropes with differently shaped exteriors?
I used to play with Play Dough too!! As a young girl I wanted nothing more than the play dough ice cream shop maker toy! Hmm maybe that explain my love for fondant and caking

Oh no, I loved the mid-week uploads! I’d wake up Wednesday (in Australia) to a new video and it was a great mid-week pick me up 🩷 always looked forward to Wednesday videos first thing in the morning whilst getting ready for work

Ok thanks for the feedback. We are testing out a few different things as we were getting feedback that our community likes to bake on weekends and wanted the videos launched on Friday and Saturdays. But we are totally open to going back to Tuesdays!

Simply put just GROWTH, the growth you’ve had since these times you speak like “she was a risk taker” that version of you doesn’t exist anymore…That was a far deeper observation then it needed to be sorry 😅
