I've watched many of those baking type youtubers but I think what keeps me coming back to How to Cake It is Yolanda's personality. Her humour and way of describing everything just makes you not want to stop watching. That and the amazing cakes. Just amazing cakes though don't make a great channel, the personality does. I find your videos very helpful mainly because I feel my way of doing cakes is similar to yours. My favorite cake was the double mint chocolate chip scoop on a cone, that is also my favorite flavor of ice cream. I've recently had a request for a poop emoji cake, lol so I'd love to see you make that. Especially since your four emoji cake was so perfect.

This video will also always have a special place in my heart because I was in a bake off for a fundraiser, and I baked this cake and won! I won in the cake division (there were cupcakes, pies and cookies sections also) but also overall because I had gotten the most votes! I couldn't have done it without you and the video! I love how authentic you are whenever I watch any of your videos and what a great personality you have! You've taught me so much, just by watching your videos! Totally agree. Looks aren't everything. I've quit using fondant cos I dislike the stuff myself and now only use modelling chocolate which tastes infinitely better. Not quite so versatile (colour wise) but worth the trade off.
I don't think fondant tastes that bad. It tastes a lot like frosting.

Omg Yo u should do a very tall cake without using dowels and see if it collapses, or do the watermelon challenge where you put rubber bands around a watermelon but instead do the caked watermelon and see how many rubber bands it takes to make the cake in half
