I have a 20 TRD OR. Even if the 5.7 is less powerful than the new TTV6, the v8 is still scary as hell. Considering my truck was $51 000 CAD new, it still has the same value now as it did new. My truck has 53 000 kilometres now. Its barely broken in.
I have a 2017 with the 5.7 the only dislike i have is the gas mileage, but i wouldn't change it for the new one. The idea of having an smaller engine with turbos to produce more power doesn't seem too reliable in the long run.
I own the new Tundra i- force Max and a 2020 Tundra 2wd. I prefer to drive the 2020 most of the time . Better handling , steering, more comfortable and better visibility !
Later this week 3-3-24, I'll hit 238,900 miles. Why is that significant? Because that is the distance to the Moon from Earth. I'll start my return trip right after that. Can your Chevy do that?
time will tell on the v6 turbo. 5.7 yes but why no mention of the 4.6? I don't understand why you didn't mention this engine. Cheaper used on the market place and basically the same engine with theoretically better mpg.

BRAVO !
Does anyone believe the turbos will last more than 150k miles?
Nope 👎🏼
For towing go with 2016-2018. If little towing go with 2021.
Really excellent topic!

I prefer the new one. New always is better. You forgot to say the new one has #Warranty the old one is no longer warranty
No need warrenty for older ones cuz it will run forever with minimal maintenance, but for new ones you definitely need
Be stupid like everyone else and buy one with turbo CVT transmission electronics modules computers hybrid batteries plastics and other junk
