The time changes in this song are incredible. Definitely one of the best drummers ever. Every limb working on a different beat. Very impressive when his hands are completely spread out, each working multiple surfaces. There are lots of videos of some of the worlds best drummers who spend weeks learning to cover Tool songs.
Will see him Live for the fist time in October, he'll be the dummer for BEAT which is him, Tony Levin, Adrian Belew and Steve Vai performing tracks from the 80's King Crimson albums, Discipline, Beat and Three Of A Perfect Pair. Sanctioned by Robert Fripp.

@@ShawnSalvadori If your last experience with Tool was their Aenima album, I'd recommend picking back up with Lateralus (the album) and pushing forward to the present in their discography! Trackwise, I'd recommend The Grudge (if starting with Lateralus) or The Pot if you go the pick and choose route.
@@ShawnSalvadori You can't find a bad song but some good starters are The Pot, forty six and 2, right in two, Lateralus, Fear Inoculum...the list goes on but I'd say to listen to studio tracks first with lyrics pulled up. That will give the best audio and allow you to understand the deep lyrics. Enjoy!

About the ralation between TOOL and RATM, they were/are friends because the two guitarists (Tom Morello and Adam Jones) were schoolmates.

Hope you enjoy Danny's Choco Chip Trip! Was a truly unexpected gem in their setlist seeing them last February.
