It’s awesome to see a non-dunk SB release and just be so dope. I’ve grabbed this colorway, the black and white, and the red pair. Just a really good looking shoe.

The Shane O'Neill model is amazing I have a few colorways. Bought some day one since the dude deserved the hell out of a pro model being one of the street goats. Both Olympic colorways (2020, 2021) are so fresh. The design is so understated and they are a hella slick casual shoe. Great for skating as well they're like a premium Janoski.

Reminds me of the AJ1 Ghost Greens, with the tiny swooshes & decent tech. The best part of these those, they aren't over-hyped &/or over-priced. There should be extra laces though; NIKE missed out on that.
Love it. Enjoy this over doing all the different colorways of AF1S, just me not hating. I love the sb shoes and the Nyjahs are 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The pair has lace protection. Unlace them and you will see some lace loops for the first 3 holes of the shoe
Yo Chris! They actually have three flywire type lace loops under the first three holes of the eyestay! Kind of hidden underneath the laces. Pretty sweet!!!

I got the red pair and I absolutely love it! The side view, especially with the black rubber/mesh panel, really reminds me of the Jordan 5s.
I’ve bought these in this colourway and they are on their way. I can’t wait to see them. I’ll be putting pink laces into them for sure. Thanks for reviewing these guys, I’ve seen a couple of reviews but they were more focussed on skate performance rather than breaking down the tech, specs and design. Love this review! Skate shoes is where it started for me, chucks, airwalks (green NTS) and then onto DC's. The tech was crap back then but they looked awesome.
I'm not big time into skating,but I've always admired the sport and those who can do it. Like I said, I'm not a skater, but these actually look really good! They look great and look like they'll hold up well. I'm glad to see reviews on shoes other than basketball shoes. Dope video, thanks for more great content!

I wondered if you were going to cover these! I fucking love skate shoes. I can get on a board and ride but that's kinda it but I've always admired skating and skaters and naturally, their apparel and kicks. Love these and Ishod is a cool dude, glad he got a signature. Excited to see where it goes and for all the colorways we'll see for this first model.
The cool thing about the laces, under the high wear area there's a secret lace loop option for the first 3 lace holes that will protect them a bit more. 👍
I love the all tan colorway coming out, they have the round laces and they just look amazing, love the idea of react in an SB, great idea.
just got the wheat color way today. I also have the olive color way. the wheat color way tongue is smaller. love the round laces.

I’m so stoked Ishod FINALLY got a real signature model. I have his 2013 Thrasher SOTY poster still. Super bummed the olive pair sold out so fast, but I was able to grab the black/white colorway
Also to break them in, put the shoe in the microwave for like 25 seconds. Walk around and repeat. Sounds silly but it really helps to break in skate shoes

Grabbed these in red had to go up half a size hope they fit. Chris is me if I was a successful UA-camr 😂😂😂. Love him and the fam keep it up!
Thanks for covering these!!! I picked up the Nyjah’s because I love the design but they were SO narrow. Love the design on these as well so hoping the fit is a little better
I have the Nyjah 2s and I find these are more narrow than those
Great review as always. Saw these a few weeks ago and instantly recognised the Jordan 5 inspiration, so I personally think they’re fire. Also been seeing Nike push ads for the Jordan Flight Club ‘91, so was wondering if we could get a review 🤷♂️

I really like this color way and design. I think that the Jordan 14 Winterized would have been perfect if they didn't have white on the midsoles, but were completely dark like these SBs. Something about that brown and red/infrared really works well together, surprisingly.

Ive always preferred low profile skate shoes over the typical hype casual stuff like Jordan retros. Especially these days with pro models you get way better value with materials and cushioning has improved. They're just so much easier to wear. These look great.. will eventually grab a pair when the right colorway gets a discount!
I got a pair of these in the White/Blue colorway, half a size down and under retail and they are super solid. 9/10 would recommend.
When I first saw these a couple weeks ago I really nearly pulled the trigger because it’s a great shoe and I also love a good skate shoe. But I have too many and I am still in love with the SB Adversary pair I got last year.
The Nike SB Bruin used the cupsole and the same drop in midsole when they released. Super comfortable after you break them in too
Missed out on this colorway, but the all red pair I have are FIRE! Love them.

Ishod always put out bangers after bangers in terms of videos. Those who didn't stock up on his Dunks when they were freely available at stores for 90 bucks without SNKRS are regretting it big time. Now his Dunks are worth 300-600.
One of my favorite skate shoes of all time (durability and impact protection) is actually on your hoodie lol. Had the Foamposites after saving up for a hot minute, once they got beat up a few months in I skated in em all the time. I know its blasphemous and such, but I'll be damned if they didn't work. Never had to worry about the toe-box getting ripped through by the grip tape, the shell just got a little scuffed and the laces were so far inward that it was almost impossible to hit em with grip tape. Unless you ironically did an impossible which is one of the few tricks that got the board close to the tongue. So if you ever did a double take and saw an asshole in the 90's skating in the Bay with some Foamposites, that was me haha. Great video as usual Chris, loving all the variety of reviews the last couple years!
Pretty much since birth I’ve almost exclusively worn skate shoes, as a kid I had tons of those brown shoes, they’re awesome, Reynolds emericas, es accels, Etnies, miss some of those old shoes

I have the red, the OLIVE lol, and the premium leather Ishod's that were on Nike for like two days. They are all the most comfy skate shoes I have ever worn. Also, it says on the box that they are olive and not brown, not a big deal but lots of people calling these the wrong color IMO. Great videos man I watch them all.

The beige and white colorway is fire ... I would check that colorway out Chris and Mrs. Wing ! Leather and buttery for summer !

under the first 3 laces whole have they have nylon/ flywire lace loop. so you can use them to save your lace from skate tricks

Chris, the shoes have lace protection. There are loops behind the bottom three lace holes on both the lateral and medial sides
Skating my pair love them only thing I can say is the toe feels narrow but nothing to trip about

I’m so happy with my pair! I might get another just because. The brown ones look dope…my normal inclination is to get the all red pair, but i might switch it up. OH MY GAD!! I don’t know why I didn’t realize it until watching this video…you’re right, there are no extra laces!! Very un- SB like.
I had to buy these. They look so close to my favorite skate shoe, the Caballero 5s. I know Vans isn't gonna retro those, so these in white is the closest I'll get to rocking those again.
Another great review. Been into skate shoes lately. Do you plan to do a Force 58 review? Got 2 different pairs (Dutch Blue - GORGEOUS and Wolf Grey)... Can tell you they're really nice...
At this point there is always inspiration from the past. Just with modern materials such as React. I have a lineup of shoes to skate in before these but may have to change that. They felt on the money when I tried them on.
These are so nice. I had the hardest time deciding wether to get the red or brown. Ultimately went with brown I have a lot of red shoes. I got my usual size and I think they fit a little snug but hopefully once they break in they should feel better. I would consider my foot to be a little on the wide side.

the profile of the shoe is absolute perfection.
I just got these for deadlifting and gym workouts. A lot of people wear vans, chucks, stuff like that but I saw these and look really nice casually. I also saw them cut in half, and if you take out the react insole, there's like no stack height. Good for lifting. Not sure how good they will work but I'll keep yall posted.

@@andrewtalley8538 yea they're nice for deadlifts good grip. I pretty much only wear them for deadlifts. I swapped the drop in react midsole for some eS STI insoles. They felt a little weird with the midsole completely taken out.
Hope these get a 2nd rendition fixing the pinching toe and the lace protectors for all lace loops. I’d like the mesh tongue all the way up
you can actually lace under the bottom eyelets with a loop like the Nike SB shanes or the AJ 11.
if those red hits were dark blue, dark green or cream coloured.. ooh those would be perfect to me

Fck yes, Ishod has a pro model skate shoe! Shame I didn't get to purchase one in the most classic black-white-gum colorway since they're pretty hyped up here. Gonna keep my fingers crossed that I score one soon.
Also there's Loops to protect your laces I don't know if you missed them I didn't hear you talk about them just wanted to throw that out there but there are loops to protect the bottom part of your laces underneath the flap

favorite skate shoe of all time are the d3's, you either loved skating in the or hated skating in them. they had some new colors come out but didnt have the cash for them since i just spent 520 dollars on a new graphics card......

You can tuck the laces under by pulling the strings through or something, there is a way
speaking of skate shoes that are inspired by retro basketball shoes, thoughts on the Force 58 Premium? I have the pink pair and it has slowly become my daily sneakers for work, but I'm curious on the leather quality of the all-leather "premium" version (totally not looking for a white-on-white AF1 alternative).
You can protect the laces you have elastic straps inside to pass them

I like to get skate shoes for regular daily life wearing, cause they're way more durable and made with tougher materials. I usually get Adidas adv over the normal ones
