yes they are a pain we wont be having any on the bull bar of the new tow vehicle we will put them up close to the windscreen on the edge of the bonnet to give a clear view
Great to see you out and about again, cant wait to see some more sights and especially that fantastic Australian countryside from your drone, it just adds an extra dimension to where you are. Best Wishes Dave.
While you guys were heading south, we were heading north to enjoy the wet season up and around Cairns. Fun for all! You made me rethink not having a tinny though. Where to carry it though and what will it do to our GVM! Great to have you back!
Just a bit muggy up there at the moment ,i really would struggle without the tinny love my fishing and crabbing ,our new tow vehicle will be set up with a gvm and gcm upgrade so we can also carry our quad bike as well as all our toys its a great way to explore and great for launching the boat on sandy beaches cheers
@@travellingaustralia7319 Ofcourse! the quad can pull the boat trailer where the 4x4 dare not go. You'd think I would've twigged to that, but, well, the cookie is crumbling.
we changed from the v8 79 series for more payload for the quad and bigger tinny, electric motor etc to the F 250 but it was a little too unreliable so sold it and were going to just use our 6 cyl cruiser work ute while we wait for our new vehicle but that went swimming so we decided on a ranger to use in the meantime this one has a GVM and GCM upgrade from new cheers Kev and Chris
this ranger was upgraded prior to its first rego it has a gvm of 3500 kg and gcm 6600 kg we are about 150 kg under with the vehicle so we cannot carry our quad bike and the boat at the same time but that will change with the new ranger hopefully coming around june
Nice "little "drive you guys did on day 1 1100kms wow ! Should be more humour, like " see if I can shoot a hole through the fly screen " that was funny.
We went through Wilcannia in November - the water on the ground there was incredible!! They closed the Hwy that night!
such a contrast to normal
cheers Kev and Chris
Good to see you guys back…happy and safe travels..looking forward to these vids🍾🍾🍾🍻👍🏼
Thanks 👍
Those two antennas on the front of the vehicle on a long drive would drive me nuts.

What happened to the f 250 looking forward up coming vids thanks
we decided to move it on as we found it to be a little unreliable with mostly small but annoying dramas
