Little fun fact about this song: A lot of people interpret this song as a breakup/revenge song, but Dorothy has explained that this song was more a message about "Burying her demons," more than likely her former battle with alcoholism and then rising up as the human she is meant to be. Still one of my favorite songs she's put out! 🤘
That's the beauty of music: it can have different meanings to different people, and they'll all be equally valid. All of those people will agree it's a damn good song though.
Dorothy herself, is Romanian by birth. I’ve been following her for the past couple of years after hearing her first track, Flawless. I was hooked. Such energy, emotion and angst.
Every time I listen to this song, I imagine myself dancing on my abusive ex's grave. (He's still alive, but I can still dance on his grave in my mind.) The things he did to me happened over a decade ago and they still haunt me from time to time, but when I listen to this song, I feel empowered and let it give me images that remind me he is no longer in my life. I have an amazing husband now, who knows everything that happened between me and my ex, and is a miracle in my life. I have related to many songs over the few decades I have lived so far, but this is the only one I can think of that makes me think of how I was finally able to get out away from my abuser.
Yeah, she is fire! I saw her on her first tour after releasing her debut album, she opened for Halestorm and 2nd billed Lita Ford, those women killed that night. Her first album is RockIsDead, you need to hear it and her last 2 albums, 28 Days in the Valley and Gifts from the Holy Ghost. She kicks butt every time, evolving her hard hitting sound. She is dope, do more Dorothy, try the official video for Who Do You Love, another banger. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎶
I have been watching you two beautiful people for about a year now I watch quite a a bit of reaction channels all the time but I watch you guys over and over again you make me so happy and some times I cry. I never thought about joining any of the reaction channels until a couple of days ago when I joined to become a member of your channel. I don't know why it took me so long but I'm so grateful I did.
Another great artist and song to checkout is Unleash The Archers' Cleanse the Bloodlines. The vocalist Brittney Slayes is phenomenal. I love the band, Diamante as well. The song, Unlovable just breaks my heart to pieces.
Yes finally ty guys for reacting to this band been following her since way way befor she put out her debut album called Rock Is Dead I remember hearing her back in 2014 way befor she got big heard her first single called After Midnight after I heard it I was like there something special about her she has the It Factor and had some power behind her voice people always overlooked this band would Sleep on them and none of the big reaction channels would react to her but you guys did and that's awesome I love the diversity she has in her music she released 3 studio albums RockIsDead, 28 Days In The Valley , and there newest called Gifts From The Holy Ghost anyone who Is just getting into Dorothy I recommend going back and listening to all 3 albums they are all bangers you won't be disappointed other good songs of hers to react too that you will love are Flawless, After Midnight, Raise Hell , Black Sheep , Who Do You Love , Down To The Bottom.
First I want to say I love watching you guy's & I know I've heard this before but I am still looking them up!! Thanks for this song & all your reactions! Peace 💕✌🏻🎶
From what Ive read, I presume this song is about her breaking free from her past addiction. I discovered her music a couple months ago and wish I heard of her sooner. She's just b@d@$$! Her vocals are strong, controlled and they speak volumes.
Guys, gotta to a song by DOROTHY called "BLACK SHEEP"...twice as good as this one. T Y guys watchin and lovin ya from your Southern Boy in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Go with God, Peace.
There is an acoustic version of this song and might just be better than this one. And yes to what others have said that this song is about laying her demons and addictions to rest.
I like her voice, but not the spirit behind it. This is a no for me. Enough hate and anger in the world without listening to it in music. But good reaction guys.
She has an amazing voice, but I really don't like this song. The words are too violent. There are many other "put him the ground" type songs out there like by the Dixie Chicks and Carrie Underwood, and others, but this one takes it just a little too far, I think. But she is undeniably a really great talent.

And definetly has a deeper meaning that way.
I don't knew that, and for me i felt the song that way. And it's even more powerfull. 🤘

I mainly listen to metal but I absolutely LOVE Dorothy. You should check out more of her. You won't be disappointed.
Same. Dorothy is just old school KICK ASS.
This song hit home for me, I had abusive family and an abusive ex-husband. Sometimes you have to leave people behind to move forward in life.

Sorry, my bad. She is Hungarian

She is singing to her addictions
You gotta check out “wicked ones” by Dorothy. Another great song
You guys review the song Black Sheep by her
If you like her voice , you should listen shelter.
Please listen to Gloomy Sunday by Bjork. Thank u.
This could pass for new country music
Hi! I don't know if she is of Hungarian origin, but it is certain that she was born in Budapest, the Capitol of Hungary.
Now you gotta listen to Raise Hell
There is an acoustic version of this song and might just be better than this one. And yes to what others have said that this song is about laying her demons and addictions to rest.
She on fire because she prays with the devil
Where's Uncle Billy????????
I like her voice, but not the spirit behind it. This is a no for me. Enough hate and anger in the world without listening to it in music. But good reaction guys.
It's not anger and hate. It's Dorothy saying goodbye to her hard drinking, self destructive side.
Too sinister for me to like this song. Dorothy does have a good voice, however.
Nah

Oh no..bad song...
