48 Hours in Amsterdam! September 2023 urban gardening & a boat trip!

This was a joint trip away to celebrate an upcoming significant birthday 🎂 & a good friend moving to New Zealand/Australia soon! 🦘🥲
It was great to return to the Dam! I've missed it so much, although the garden brain was off for a few days, I did get distracted by some prairie style planting in Zaandam which like everything in The Netherlands is light years ahead of Northern Ireland & in my opinion how all urban spaces should be planted! 🌷🌻🌼
& also, some footage from central Amsterdam side streets of container style gardening!🪴🏺& tree lined streets 🌳 from a boat trip by ‪@thosedamboatguys3779‬ which was fantastic!
It's great to be home to more shocking weather ⛈️🌪️🙄 .....
I need to find the motivation to get back into my garden now & get some more jobs done before the short evenings are truly underway.
