Congratulations on completing your first Tour de Cure. I did the Twin Cities (St. Paul and Minneapolis) for 11 years on a non-electric commuter bike - more a Clydesdale than a race horse, usually for the 43 mile route, though doing the 100 km. (62 mi.) one a couple years. I’ve found I have to use my Tandem’s special profile for as many hours after the ride as I spent on the ride due to the ongoing effect of that level of exercise on my bg. Brave of you guys to do the Tour as your first ride in a while (sounds like); that first ride of the season causes some seat pain the next day. Thanks for all your videos.

Hey Danica, I was wondering if you know what can happen if you used bad insulin.
I'm diabetic and so is my brother. He is on insulin and I'm on Glipizide. Well, I ran out so I took 4 units as per a sliding scale on the bottle. I noticed after I took it that a welt-like bump appeared on my stomach
and I noticed a day later that a two-inch black and blue bruise appeared. Is this what happens if you tank bad insulin? Thanks, Rick M.
