Cant wait to cam my 01 Burban.. i'd say another month or 2.. just got HP Tuners, waiting on my wideband and aem gauge, just need to take the exhaust down and have the bung welded, already have springs and trunnion upgrade.. just waiting to buy the cam and then the fun can begin
I haven’t driven it much yet. I still need to get it tuned but want to wait until I get my intake and stuff on it. I believe it will work fine on the stock stall since it’s a 6.0. Smaller engines would definitely need one.
I talk about it in this video. Super Richie (Richard Holdener) Truck Plus “Best WRONG Cam” Unboxing! LS 4.8 5.3 6.0 ua-cam.com/video/WhlmMGd32JM/v-deo.html
@@lifewiththelakes Not really that important I guess. Richard proved it on a dyno, dip it in oil, put it in with a sledge hammer and start pulling the front tires.
Originally, I had Mail Order Tuner do it. I’m not real sure if I will use them again or go somewhere else. I have some more things to throw at it first!

LS rule #1 for a cam swap, DON'T look at the cam bearings 😂
Absolutely! Hahaha!!!!!
"If you look at the cam bearings they are going to be bad". Love it. ..NEVER, I repeat.. N E V E R look at the cam bearings.. LOL. #TeamSendIt
Nice work guys!
I need a follow up ASAP lol...
Looking at doing essentially the same build
I’ve got some parts on the way and will have some new videos up soon!
Nice! Wonder if you could have ground the rod to a blunt angle to push the lifter up as you slide the rod in?
It was just barely down enough for that 5/16” rod to not fit. That is a good point though.
@@Ninelinegarage not sure if you were trying to create a pun there but either way I see what you did there
big pimpin
What length pushrods did you use? And what size injectors?
Stock push rods. I have some 8.1L Marine injectors I will be using.
@Ninelinegarage how's the driveability? Are you still on the stock stall? If so, does it try to push through the brakes at all?

@@Ninelinegarage lastly are you running just a stock fuel pump? And are you gonna do just a 87 tune?
@kobehargest it’s on a stock fuel pump right now. It was already tuned for 93 before I did the cam swap.
Any chance of knowing the duration, or intentionally a mystery?

Throw a degree wheel on it and you can solve the mystery…

@@clutchdump9633 love it!
Is there a website to purchase the cam?
You can email Richard and he will get you set up. Be sure to tell him where you got the info from! killerbe16@aol.com
Who is going to tune it?

I got the same truck 2001 GMC C3
Supercharge
Awesome! Not too many of them running around!!!
I have one too
