2007-2014 Tahoe LTZ 4X4 Rough Country Level and Z55 Autoride Air suspension Delete
After throwing parts at this thing for over two years, I decided to replace the entire front end suspension. While we were in there, we put a 2” level on it and replaced the rear springs with Z-71 springs.

2007-2014 Tahoe Hooker Aero Chamber Initial Impressions and Review with Sound Clips.
Переглядів 74День тому
This is my initial impressions and review after the install of the Hooker Aero Chamber on my 2013 Tahoe LTZ. This is on stock manifolds and all three cats. I think it’s the perfect combination of tone, sound, and growl! It gets aggressive when it needs to but is quite at cruising speeds! What more could you ask for?

    Is it necessary to replace the whole front parts (upper lower arms, tie rods etc.) for deleting autoride? or is it possible only to buy front struts, rear coils and springs to delete autoride? greetings from germany

    • @Ninelinegarage

      You just need passive front struts, rear passive shocks (with resistors) and stiffer rear coil springs . I replaced all the parts because of a front end shake at highway speeds. Thanks for tuning in!

      Let me pose a question to you. Why is it required to increase the size of the injector and larger fuel pumps as power levels increase? More horsepower requires more fuel! It’s just depends on the fuel and air requirements of a particular engine.

    • @Ninelinegarage
      @Ninelinegarage 27 днів тому

      Are you serious? Having properly gapped, high quality spark plugs are critical in producing a proper flame kernel. This increases the efficiency of combustion and extracting the most energy out of the fuel that’s supplied.

    • @DarthContinent
      @DarthContinent 27 днів тому

      Back in the day my dad used to tune our '68 Dodge Dart. I still remember him using a spark plug gap tool to ensure a precise spark gap per the manufacturer instructions for the Slant 6 engine with its carburetor. Surely that remains important today, given various mechanics' teardown videos I've seen stop to examine the plugs and specifically whether they got "mechanically regapped" by an errant piston striking them.

    • @Ninelinegarage
      @Ninelinegarage 27 днів тому

      @DarthContinent we used to “index” our plugs on our race cars. Squeezing every bit of power out of an engine takes a lot of small details. Plugs should never be overlooked!

    It's not the mufflers it's the combination of components you have, throwing an x pipe on a GM truck TBI or vortec is a bad idea your going to get several slappiness a terrible sounding crackle sound onslight throttle, if you ditched the X for an H and some milder mufflers it would sound fine. Als running tailpipes behind each rear wheel makes a terrible sound also, years ago on just a SBC in my old 4wd square body I had 2.24 pipe with glass packs going straight out the back towards the middle about a 22 to 18" apart and it sounded glorious then out of boredom I tossed elbows on exiting behind each tire and it got cracklie as soon as I got on the throttle that went ASAP. When they exit close together the pulses blend giving a nice smooth performance sound but opposite sides the pulses are separated and you get the back n forth not sounding very performance at all just loud n lazy
