No over heating with normal use, I didn't try LTE though and battery lasts about a day with moderate usage.

Watch 4 series came with one ui 3 (wearos 3) in 2021 and currently on One ui5 (wearos4) so it should get cpl more years of updates or two OS updates from now so it's totally fine. I have a watch active 2 running on one ui 2 with no updates and it's still going fine so it's not like software support will kill your smartwatch. It's not a smartphone so you don't need to monthly security updates as much. If it helps, Please follow & support the channel.

Watch 4 classic 42 mm is available on Amazon for 12k and if you can wait it may come under 10k.
