Watching Marco interviews, I always get reminded to be myself, be well-mannered, and to do my job.
Saruman the White I get somewhat the same. But I also get this urge to twirl around a knife :]
Keith R lol that last part though... made me laugh
His voice is satisfying
Yeah but plus a giant ego behind humility. Or maybe both at once. A juxtaposition like many of us
Jeff Thurber maybe it’s us trying our best while swinging between extremes.
This is one of the best interviews with Marco. The interviewer did his research and let the man tell his story. Brilliant!
marco = true legend , no bullshit
What presence and class. An amazing human being and yet so humble. Listening to him, the way he talks, his mannerisms, and how he carries himself, is very inspiring. His outlook on the world is "dead-on" accurate, in my opinion.
I could listen to him for ages he's so eloquent and he's hot too
He's is very good teacher and a master cook
2021 now and still love the interview
I love his humility. Marco very often says, 'thank you for your time and patience' at the end of many interviews. Love his mannerisms.
I can listen to him 24/7
Sir Marco White... my inspiration
mine 2
What a gent. I work as a chef and if everyone in this industry had this outlook instead of ramsey's the 15 hours a day we work would be a true joy. I salute you Marco!!!
+sketchy wah what is Ramsey's view over Marco's that akes your work less joyous?
I agree that Marco is more interesting and charming than Gordon. Gordon is more entertaining to watch on TV shows, but I would rather take culinary classes from Marco.
"Doing a lot of little things right" is advice I try to apply to my daily life and art as whole. A clear thought that's good to take with you, wherever you go.
Marco, you are the man, the legend and no.1 chef in the world.
This is such a great interview, not just talking about cooking, when he was talking about young people I've never felt so understood.
My idol and one of my role model in life. The great Marco Pierre White.
I cannot stop listening to his interviews!
Marco is a thinking intelligent guy brutal honesty he has a great way of expressing his thoughts and philosophy's great listening to him great interview inspiring thanks marco .
What a humble, down to earth gentleman he is, Marco you are a class act and bring such dignity to the industry
I could listen to this man speak for hours...his voice is amazing
Marco has been one of the most nicest kindest persons have ever met. We were both born December 1961 too.I read the book he signed for my carer and was so impressed on how well written it was .
The man is class pure class could listen to Marco Pierre white all day he is such an amazing man xx
I so much Admire you Sir.. May God Bless you Allways Mr. Marco Pierre White.. Thank you for whom you are, you are an inspiration to many.
My goodness. Marcos voice is really well modulated
this is why marco and not someone else Great RESPECT CHEF
Marco is fantastic. This is so inspiring and all the right questions were asked! Brilliant interview.
That was a very good interview. The experiences that one goes through in pursuing their passion; even when mentors will only give out tough love (best form of love) - to have you value their time as well as yours - is a perfect example of the humbleness it brings to that type of human being.
We live in a world that is fabricated, due to people not respecting individuality and allowing the media to have you make assumptions about this or that human being.
Top Man!
Everything you said were true to the last pulp! Cheers!!!
Best chef ever so humble yet so brilliant!!!
True honesty an inspiration to young cooks wanting to become chefs in their own right!
How have I only just seen this interview? Brilliant, honest and inspiring: also a masterclass in Interviewing too 👌🏻 Thank you Marco, you are first class.
Great interview from both, congrats!
Excellent interview.
All the time my favourite Chef Marco.. i am hoping one day i will work with Chef Marco.
Really good interview, I loved the restaurant atmosphere. And the interviewee, well, he is an admirable person. I could listen to him for ever.
He still has his charm.
That is one of the best inspirational speches i ever listened to and did even expect it.
Great man. Great Cook.
What a true gentleman very honest
Fantastic, both from Marco and Alex
As a chef myself, Marco is my biggest inspiration. Not only because of his cooking, but of the man he is. Brilliant, humble, respectful and passionate. He earned his place in the culinary world.
The ending to this interview is just perfect.
Such a class act he is...becomes evident by seeing there is not a single dislike on this video..hard to find this times
Amazing brilliant man. He inspires me and I am not even a chef or in the food service industry.
Good interview, very interesting.
Whoa, so cool seeing him laugh and joke around in the background scenes...
Holy crap. This really hit home for me.
Marco is really inspiring - in a different way to many other inspirational people. He has the usual 'Rags to Riches' inspirationa story, but I think the difference is he also is a very good communicator (story teller).
Marco, what an impressive & exraordinary individual!
Define wisdom 👌 enjoy and appreciate how humble this guy is
Truly an inspirational man of depth and character
He loves that checkered vans, I often see that in other interviews. I'm addicted watching him very inspirational.
I love this guy. He's a cool guy.
What an Amazing man!!!
A true inspiration! :-)
My talents are greater than my ambitions!!! Wow.. so much wisdom
so humble
God Bless you Mr White.
Alex thanks so much for give us a little inside of the mind of the master of masters, Marco really inspired me to became a history teller in my way to cook. Again Thanks really good interview
What a great man and a great chef. Still down to earth and very humble unlike some other well known chefs.
Marco is a legend.
This is so so true
What a guy!!!!
Legend. #1
Inspiring words marco
It's his eye contact, and slowness to speak. Doesn't matter who you are, he'll give you the courtesy (and that's what it is) of direct attention, and he will consider his thoughts before speaking rather than allowing scattered thoughts to come spilling out all at once. How I wish I had more of that social ability, but I suppose it takes practice like most things.
And the Top Of All: I saw a clip in You Tube where he (Marco) put "Finnish Christmas" in Uk….oh my…..Thank you !
I agree with the fantasist part, because today it's really difficult to make my wish come true and all the fantasies that I have make me depressed
3:03 and onward was very very insightful
"Mr. Ishi… pull over, there was a love donkey back there." Goddamn, what a thoroughbred of a human being. He raced, and won, and exercised what he was able to do, until it hit him….I'd rather be a donkey than a thoroughbred racing for other people. Donkey isn't a negative term. Quite the opposite.
A relic from a vanished era
Why does this have such less views
he got game in him
Recipe is just it can confuse, artist and donkeys are those statement I like about Marco. He is my spoke person
Jamie Oliver and Gordon ramsey disliked this video
They both are nothing compared to marco. They should learn firstly how to hv self respect and manners to be as simple as one could be. When u dont hv these 2 in ur life..ur a failure.
And another thing which make me appreciate this man- he didn't hate Finnish food (he loved our fish and…) like Gordon Ramsay who was here in Finland : He hated all our dishes. Felt bad actually, as it was seen on tv.
Yes we have bad dishes (it is a opinion of the taster) as a Finnish own culture food but I think there wasn't any reason to slipt it out (Ramsay) in our morning tv .
+Nina Härkönen As swedish with alot of family in finland i spent alot of time in finland and love most of the food, but i have to say that memma (or how ever you spell it) is really bad, or atleast thats how i remeber it from being young. But still there is no way i would say things like gordon about any food no matter what.
Quite briiliant, an insipration to us all.
8:30 foreigners say we have no culture no community-don't let them say that bullshit;we did.
is he from Leeds or Yorkshire?
Leeds is in West Yorkshire, so both :)
thumbs down for the "I'm delicious" comment. good video otherwise.
He sounds like Hannibal Lecter
can someone tell me how and why he and Ramsay fell out?
O'Nikki Adams He invited Ramsay to his wedding.supposed to be a private event. Ramsay showed up with a film crew, recorded the event and sell it for money
hes got bullshittery to a fine art respect to the man
This man should stop trying to cook Caribbean cuisines haha
0:10 wtf
Hello, how are you?
I'm... delicious thank you.
He got his inspiration from Knorr Stock Pots
Danial Zainudin Not in any way I'm mocking. I truly do apologise because out of the 12,000 viewers that comment actually offended you.Sorry mate PS I don't know who is che det and I don't think your last sentence is appropriate. #BudiBahasaBudayaKita ?
Hi John, it's best to thumbs down troll comments that add no value. If you respond to a troll comment, it gives it weight. Khairul's idiotic comment now appears as one of the top comments probably because it has spawned a thread of conversation. Just thumbs down and move on....that's my opinion.
