I like to imagine him sitting in a hot tub and he’s looking over his shoulders to make sure no one is looking and then he throws some stockpot into the bath and lies back and relaxes.
hahah well that does sound nice
its his choice
don't forget some olive oil as well
Or he makes a paste for a facial
It’s the nations favourite
He didn't make you sleep, you made yourself sleep. It was your choice to sleep.
😂 Like Gordon chose to cry
I just expanded my sleep palette…
That you Marco 😂
Ha 😏 very witty indeed.
If you like more sleep, add more, if you don't, leave it out. Try Knor sleeping tablets instead of wine, you'll see the difference, that's just my opinion.
“Add the shallots, snort a knorr stockpot, rob a pharmacy… it’s your choice”
I’ll take #3
haha xD
Fuck I laughed way too hard at this 😂
Rob a pharmacy 😂😅
😂😂😂
I love how this guy went from being the guy who made Gordon Ramsay cry to basically being the Bob Ross of cooking.
He didn't make him cry, it was Gordon's choice to cry.
Bob ross was a drill sergeant at one point; the dots are connecting
Think you should check Jacques Pepin then
@@ryangonzalez7177 Underrated comment!
Wife, bedroom, candles, knorr rich beef stock pot. Start to finish, 3 minutes. It’s your choice
Depends on the size of your meat.
@@haoukkax8896 her choice really
Use chicken granules instead. Better than salt but your choice really
And if you don’t like the wife, don’t use it. Your choice.
Bro you made me laugh out loud i love you
The thumbnail makes Marco look like an Oblivion NPC
Lmaooooo noooo I can't unsee this now 😭😂😂
I was fucking cracking up typing this exact comment 😂😂 knew I couldn't be the only one that saw that
Marco pls stop calling me a criminal scum
Thats not the thumbnail. He did that himself. That was his choice.
It looks like a YTP frame.
You can hear his voice catch with emotion right before he blesses these dishes with the stock pot.
😂
dead
“I don’t shake the pan, I move the meat”. Hell yeah brother
This killed me 😭😂
how could anything else ever be the option that comes to mind is beyond me.
that segment timed perfectly as I read this comment 😂.
“Im not a professional chef anymore, im a homecook now…”
*proceeds to atomize garlic*
"proceeds to atomize garlic" and the video bit made me spit out the tea and coughing while laughing endlessly.
@@loveblues9633 Look, it's in his DNA ok?
Where is this at
So strange how arguably the finest chef of all time is somehow locked into an unending contract to sell Knorr stock cubes.
Haha lolled at that comment
Because he had his 3 stars already, and he is right. For the normal "home" chef who doesnt have time for doing stocks yourself the cubes are really good to increase the flavour of a dish
@@alexf3220 ok, then why only Knorr?
@@LeifGrahamssonthat's generally how a sponsorship works
@@LeifGrahamssonYou don’t have to use knorr it’s your choice
I had a date last night, and after stressing a lot about what to cook for the girl I watched few of these videos. I ended up spreading a knorr stock pot on a slice of bread. We now have two kids.
It's well known that knorr stockpots increase fertility by 4000%...depending on how much you use, your choice.
Depends how Italian your mother is, really.
Tf
You had two kids in a day? Are you sure you didn't cook meth instead?
Only two? you didn't use enough olive oil if you only got two.
“But I’m a home cook now, not a professional cook.”
*proceeds to stare into the camera while dicing garlic at light speed*
Haha I also found that very funny
He's trolling, 100 percent! "I dare you to do as good as I do". I laughed out loud, legit. That's the kind of fire one can spark determination and curiosity in their alumni with.
@@mimmikibilly hold my finger..
I love watching Jacques Pepin move at the speed of the government, then cut mushrooms at light speed. Like that is literally a reflex now.
still got it
Make it 8 hours so we can skip the sleep. Literally, our choice.
😂
Having said that, I did have an Italian mother
or a little olive oil
I like to sleep with Marco playing all night. And a stock pot under my pillow for good luck. It's my choice
It’s not a big job
11:37 - “you can make the meatballs as big as you wish”
I made one mega meatball and garnished with a stockpot on top as a hat. My choice.
you kept it on the house
Or you could make 2 mega meatballs, be a man. Your choice.
I make a lot small meatballs and freeze some. Always good to toss in sauce or soup.
Whenever Marco gets ill, the nurses fix his system with numerous bottles of olive oil intravenously and rub Knorr stock cubes and stock pots all over his body and soon he's good as new again.
Theres no real medication, thats his choice. lol
no real recipe , it’s the nurses choice really
No she didn’t not make him well.
It was his choice to get well
It makes a fine paste. It's his choice.
You have to season your chef, or else he’s under seasoned
The way he looked into the camera when he said "Who doesn't like garlic butter...apart from people who don't like garlic?" like it was genuinely a mystery to him
It's called comedy.
@@theshapeexists*Im sure they know that. “ItS cAlLeD cOmEdY” 😂🤦🏽♀️*
@theshapeexists the finest of dry brittish humour
Ive started eating Knorr cubes because I get the same flavor without having to cook. And as Ive told my cardiologist when he yelled at me about my blood pressure/sodium intake, its MY choice
I actually reverse engineered the knorr stock pots and created a highly illegal counterfeit stock cube lab below a dry cleaner company. It's got twice the flavor at half the price. I've been supplying Marco for the last 2 years. Don't tell knorr
@@theshapeexistsis it 99,6 percent pure though?

The pattern he made on the shepherds pie was pure art.
The way he effortlessly and impeccably handles ingredients and utensils is genuinely moving. A master artisan.
I’ve made this before but never gave been able to get a pattern like that - he makes it look so easy
@@A-wc1yftry wavier potatoes 🥔
I really love how he doesn’t go crazy with over explaining and over selling the Knorr stock cubes. He’s just like “I use them, they’re easy and work well”
yeah he dont do american marketing
Exactly. We know he's bullshitting when he says things like "I think Knorr Aromat is better than salt" or "the stockpot really brings out the flavor of the beef", but he says it so calmly and in passing almost that you don't even register that he's advertising it.
@@erikmccormick9331 He's said elsewhere or even in these videos, 'natural stock is better, but you don't have time for that at home, so this is the next best thing'. The aromat thing is different, but I believe him for the stock itself.
@@erikmccormick9331 Actually it really is better than just salt and pepper. It adds a lot of extra flavour, also thanks to MSG haha.
really a master of advertising tbh. maybe its from having a commanding presence in the kitchen for so long the viewer just takes what he says as fact@@erikmccormick9331
Very relaxing, gone from counting sheep to counting stock pots 😴

I never knew that 😂😂😂😂
35:26 God when he whispered “A tiny bit of olive oil” I just melted like warm butter.
Uwu
The side-on face angle for the camera when he talks is great. Please don’t stare into my soul, I like feeling like I’m in the 4th wall
05:52 - the way he throws his knife into his opposite hand whilst reeling off his ingredients. Slick AF.
I knooow, I got a hard on while replaying that.
Actually, the lamb chop he cooks at the beginning is spot on, and I can certainly recommend it. It is, of course, your choice.
When I want to snooze I always make sure to rub a cube in each eye

Daaaaaaamn!!!!
My choice to watch this 24/7 until I die and not cook a single decent meatball
It was my choice to comment on your post.. or not...
You ARE the decent meatball. you are valid.
Why is this video suggested to me? Watching this while reading comments has me wheezing in bed 😭
Same, these comments are hilarious 😂
I saw marco on the street once and chatted with him. Asked him if he had any knorr cubes and he started rummaging around his jeans and a few came out of his pockets. Nice bloke.
The fucking algorithm has been recommending this shit for the past two years. I finally caved. It was worth it.
34:15 "time to unveil the most magical, delicate Christmas tree..." soft exhale.... SLAM 😂😂😂
xD I lost it.
I had to go back and rewatch that a few times. For me, nothing beats a soft exhale followed by explosive noises. Nothing, but Knorr beef stock pots.
I was looking for this comment😂😂😂
It just killed me😂😂😂😂
The whole Christmas tree clip looked senile as hell to me I don't know why I've never watched this man before but this clip looked like he was losing it 😂 especially when it first went together and it was just the mushrooms and the story about the tickets I'm like oh my gosh👀 this old man lost it 😂 he's having a bad trip🤣🤣🤣 it looked a lot better by the end but him whispering to himself I'm still not sure😂😂😂
You can watch this, or sleep. It’s your choice.

When you have a fat paycheck but work 14 hours 6 days a week
I cannot say I've ever given a moment's thought to the cost of olive oil when cooking.
He is a milliomaire, think it matters if it's $5 or $50/bottle?
Most people like to go to sleep by drinking a glass of milk or water. I prefer to sleep by taking a knorr stock cube mixed with olive oil. Maybe 2 for seasoning...it's your choice.

Lately I just tend to skip all the recipe steps except for the stockpot. My choice. Delicious.
People give him so much shit for the knorr sponsorship but they dont realize that in this industry there's no retirement. You either sell out to a brand or manage to pull opening your own businesses successfully (Which the rate for a food businesses to be successful and sustainable is about 60%) or you're stuck fliping burgers until you go senile and then be thrown in the streets
The thing is that he already did all three of them

that's totally a dish that your bonkers granny who's just going a bit soft in the head would make
It makes me chuckle at how many youtube chefs I hear say to never use bulion cubs and only make fresh stocks if you want food to taste good. Then I come to Marco, one of the best chefs in the world who sweara by the bulion cube. Guess who I'll be taking advice from?
The man is sponsord
@@gijsbink6857 indeed he is. And he cared so much about his own reputation that he gave up 3 michilen stars. So I highly doubt he would put his name on a brand and make actual recipes with his name on it if it wasn't good.
@@ericmcmanus5179why did he give up his stars? I'm unfamiliar with that story
@@kronictonic yeah. He had 3 Michelin stars early on in his career. In fact, I think he might have been one of the youngest ever. He hated how he felt stuck solely focusing on keeping those 3 stars after receiving them. Not being able to take risks for fear of losing them. So he said screw it and gave them up. There's a really fool multi part documentary of Gordon Ramsey called Boiling Point. It takes place before and just after he finally received his 3rd star. Gordon was Marco's student. So they go into that story.
@@ericmcmanus5179 you're right about him being young and getting the Michelin stars, but he's actually the youngest in history to get 3. He was 24 years old and literally holding the equivalent of multiple World Series rings
I took this video as a joke at first and moved on but then I went back to it and it actually captivated me and drew me into a deep slumber and hunger
It’s your choice
I want to see what happened behind the scenes of the meatball record. He looks rough and sounds utterly fed up with life at several points during it. You can tell it's killing him to put a stock pot in the pasta water.
Maybe they force him to say that he likes boiling pasta with the cube instead of just salt... i think as part italian person / because his mom was italian it could be hurtful / outright a lie
Edit: they might have asked him to say hes been using it for years... it sounds humiliating
Such a remarkable & extraordinary man. Always considered it a treat to watch him completely master his craft
“The mushrooms I use are very small and very white, very important.”
I felt that.
Perfection is lots of little things done well.
why is this so enjoyable? i think its the passion he has. nothing is fake or an act.
something incredibly addictive about his voice and accent and way he talks about food
If you want to tell the Shepard to bugger off that's your choice
I am become knorr, the enhancer of taste. This dude really knows how to work his stuff, everything he does is surgical
i can take a fat snore sleeping to this masterpiece right here
why do i like this better than cheesy camera tricks and cheap music of some modern cooking shows. hes teaching you how to cook and doing it well for someone who actually wants to learn. i do get that if you are a bum who watches cooking videos but have never picked up a knife or pan in your life this can be boring.
hes letting the food and cooking speak for itself not instagram camera angles. i guess today people get bored unless they are being overtly manipulated.
@@dhekwucieoejduf exactly, social media like tiktok and Vine in the 2010s really brought out the goldfish attention span of humans
Watching this while high ands it's amazing
The guy that made the chicken sauce at his restaurant by roasting 40 chickens and juicing them each day- now loves a knorr bouillon cube. Respect the hustle in both scenarios
Lol funny. I have started watching his instructional videos at night because they are so relaxing they help me get ready for bed
I love him as a person above all else even over his cooking and him being a chef. He is such an intense person, you can tell he feels so passionate about life in general. He understands feelings and how to embrace them and understands peoples feeling around him puts himself in their shoes and boosts their morale. Sure he knows exactly who he is and expects respect for his accomplishments but at the same time does not see himself any better then anyone else. He’s the type of man you would learn alot about life in general being in his presence for awhile overall incredible man.
Thank you so much for doing this!!! 😁💪✊

Gordon and Jamie are like the energiser bunny. Marco is sublime.
I would guess it's because of his mentor who was also calm in nature
Remember, this guy made Gordon Ramsey cry.
I can't remember if it was a documentary or what but there is a video where Marco kicked the camera crew out of the kitchen because he was pissed that the chefs fucked up and he didn't want what he was going to do or say be filmed.
MPWs Knorr commercials are actually the best cooking videos. They are real, grounded, honest and seeing HIM giving all that advice and basically hinting to you, that you could do things different and WHAT you should do different, its genius.
