Fun fact: the developers of this game actually put some cats in mo cap suits and let them just run around and do whatever they want which is why the cats are very realistic
This game is proof that small worlds with more detail are better than big worlds with less detail. Also that we need more feel good games like this. I hope there’s a sequel. Not to mention the soundtrack truly captured the vibe of cats.
I never realised, but it's a bit strange to think we've had platformers where you play as: a plumber, a purple dragon, a bandicoot, a hedgehog, whatever Rayman is supposed to be; but it's taken till 2022 for someone to make a platformer where you play as a cat.
What intrigues me the most is how did it take this long for people to think about making a cat game, it's seems like a no-brainer, everyone loves cats.
There’s something admirable about the developers just wanting to make a heartfelt game about playing a game as a cat and making it a good game.

Stray is a testament to how good a silent protagonist can still be
elden ring was for the boys, stray is where the real men are made
"technology is so cringe" is something I'm pretty sure that cats think on the regular.
"Fun Fact!" Stray's cat model is made from a real Stray cat, That I believe the developers took in.
What intrigues me the most is how did it take this long for people to think about making a cat game, it's seems like a no-brainer, everyone loves cats.
Can’t be the only person who thought the blobs jumping at the cat looked like uncooked rotisserie chickens 💀
Charlie:
I love how Stray became popular not because of it's unique style or storyline, but because the main character is a cat.
If you could customize the cat to look like your own cat, this game would sell tf out. 10/10.
Cat:
Huge props to Charlie's kitten for its outstanding role in this game. Amazing acting runs in the family.
I love the slow blink the cat does towards the camera, that's such a cute little touch
There’s something so funny about Charlie swearing at people while playing as a tiny orange cat
Seeing the cat limp round fucked me up, hit too close to home. Great animation, very accurate to movements of cats.
I started crying when the cat fell down the hole and got hurt and lost. I am traumatized by this game. 10/10
I love that the most talked about game right now isn't another fps
