I've always loved ID, for as long as I can remember them being around. They're so, SO good, it's crazy. People tried to meme them and bring them down for years but they're on fire, every sound they try they execute perfectly and blend it into their own take. Amazing to listen to them, they have a song for every mood.

Love this group and their songs.Absouloutly fabulous vocal range, as someone who has vocal damage, and still trying to work out what my vocal range is, ( nobody tells you ) Dans voice is unique , and thank you , think your channel may be paramount to me ❤
You are FAST! I know sometimes it can take a little while to get videos out, but the fact that this song premiered YESTERDAY and it's already up!? Goes to show how big of a fan you are!
I've been a more casual fan, but every new song I've heard is even more amazing than the last- they just keep getting better and better! The pinned comment on their video helped me gain even more admiration for him as a singer and a person as well. No one becomes this good overnight- his dedication to his craft really shows!
I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but as someone with audio processing issues, I really appreciate seeing someone break songs like this down so I can have a better understanding of what I'm hearing. The little musical training I do have was with tabs rather than notes/scales, so the way you demonstrate the note on the piano, on screen, and describe how it relates to the person's range helps me grasp the concepts a lot better!
(In case anyone's curious, I play the Okinawan sanshin (3-stringed lute) with written music called kunkunshi, which shows tabs.)

Right? I just watched this am and I’m in love all over again. You saw them IN CONCERT? SO jealous!
I won’t compare the singing, but I think Dan Reynolds is right up there with Freddie Mercury as one of the best front men ever-he’s especially amazing when he’s able to get up close with the audience-he really seems to feed off that. Freddie could do the same from more of a distance, but Dan really vibes when he’s close enough to breathe the same air.
I wonder if this is autobiographical. It feels very personal when it gets to the car wreck.

15:30 Dont wanna bust your balls but their drummer Daniel Platzman wasnt involved while making this song. Last year in March
,he announced that he was taking a break to focus on his own health. He also isnt credited for it.
Unless someone else was drumming, they were only using synths and beats for this song.
In their new acoustic version of the song Dan is using some kind of synthesizer, so they probably didnt use a real drum set but i might be wrong.

I know they're not well known (so not good for views) and they don't have many music videos, but the band Murder By Death (named after the whodunit comedy, it's not a metal band) has one of my favorite bass singers period. He's sorta like Johnny Cash meets Nick Cave, but a bit deeper, and he's complemented REALLY well by the Cello. The core instruments are the Cello, Guitar and Bass, probably in that order, not including drums.
For first songs to listen to, it's hard to choose, and they range across a variety of genres, but my shortlist for a good spread of styles would probably be True Dark, I Shot An Arrow, and Lost River (the only one with a proper music video).

It's good, but im so unsure about the lyrics. They don't make much sense and this song sounds like the kind they release once in a while to stay in the mainstream, ie. generic music. But either way, Im so happy to see some ID appreciation for once. I was so ambivalent and was expecting the same old hate comments on this video, but its refreshing to see people being reasonable for once!
