    I tried making these and they were great. Definitely a recipe that works for making wraps or flat-breads. They slightly puffed up perfectly.
    The key is adding just enough hot water to keep the dough manageable - not too wet and not too dry.

      @galladiel 4 роки тому

      @@themaxscript1621 All nuts, but especially almonds are very high in oxalates which are natural compounds that plants use to defend themselves from insects. A lot of other plants besides almonds are high in oxalates as well. Some people with impaired digestion, but sometimes just genetically predisposed individuals are sensitive to oxalates. In those people, oxalates ingested with food get into the bloodstream and then the tissues of the body creating pain and inflammation. If you are interested in more detail Eliot Overtone has a wonderful presentation about oxalate sensitivity. You can find it on youtube.

    Is there any alternative for husk

      Thanks for your comment. You can use xanthum gum in place of psyllium husk to get the binding in the dough. ☺

      @@francescanolli1798 Well, for the similar quantity of the coconut flour in my recipe, half a teaspoon of xanthum gum would be sufficient.

    Hello 👋, I would just like to add that you can achieve a good circle by just using a tortilla press you can buy at any Mexican supermarket or Amazon.
