I recently filmed a vegetarian keto vlog and during my week of being veggie I chanced upon this recipe. I had plenty of coconut flour as well to use up. You folks spotted this paneer paratha in my vlog and so here I am to show you how to make this super versatile keto flat bread which is a naan and also a paratha and also an uttapam. So enjoy the recipe.

Being doctor myself, I was little worried to start keto diet, but somehow wanted to reduce my weight at any cost as I am a diabetic. Your recipe are just next level as you try to maintain the nutrition without compromising on taste and flavor. Great work. God bless.
T2D? Check Dr. Ken Berry's videos on how to reverse it with a keto diet.
Check out Dr Eric Berg!
FMR T2D here: Low Carb living combined with weight training keeps my A1C down in healthy levels. You got this!
Anjum Mazhari just like Daniel fmr T2D! Keto and exercise reduced my weight 70Lbs and my A1C to normal levels. My doctor fully supports me, as my bloodwork is always right on the numbers. Dr Ken Barry and Dr Eric Berg are great! You can do it!
He's absolutely wonderful.
I absolutely hate complicated keto bread recipes with like 10+ ingredients, which is why I love yours. Yours is so sweet and simple and makes it easy to live a keto lifestyle. A lot of the videos you have posted have help me my blood sugar low since I'm a diabetic. I was diagnosed with diabetes at 17 with a blood sugar of over 230, but thanks to you I have been able to keep it sub 100 without the use of medication or insulin.
I just tried it and it taste AMAZING! For the filling I used feta cheese with pinch of onion and garlic powder and some oregano leaves.Thank you so much for sharing your recipe with us.
1/2 Cup of Coconut Flour
2 tbsp psyllium husk
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 cup of warm water (add half, mix then add the other half)
Mix well, divide the dough into 4 parts
Sit for 15min
Flat it out parchment paper
Use pan lid to cut excess
Fry in pan with oil. Butter optional
Hieu Phan thank you!
Thanku
Awesome 😎
I don't have psyllium husk
So what is the break down of Carb count per Flat bread?
Thanks for making Keto fun and delicious. All my bad medical numbers have turned around and I've dropped 70 pounds. Rock on!
that's great to hear!
wow Jim, thats a crazy accomplishment! great job!
Wow that amazing!! Big congrats! I’ve started my journey too, wish me luck!
Well Done!!!
You go Jim!
I have been trying to reconcile my love of Indian food with the keto diet, and now I'm learning how thanks to your channel!
Pete Thomas same!
Can you please write ur recipe i don't understand some of ingredient thank you for sharing
What is second ingredient i didn't get that
@@zibam6687 psyllium husk powder
@@zibam6687 cumin powder
I use them as "fajitas" when done, put chicken, avocado, tomato, saur cream and yummmmmmm!!!
Tried these. They fluff when you are frying them and taste almost like bread. Really Good and very filling. Thanks!
Ok, so I watched this video this morning and couldn’t stop thinking about this bread all day... I made a double batch. I made some plain, some with olives tomatoes onions and bacon bits...as well as some stuffed with cheddar cheese....they so amazing...thank you so much for all your hard work...I am so addicted to your recipes....thank you from Canada 🇨🇦
Cheers
I have started keto diet about 1 month ago and I have lost 8 pounds and I was doing exercise and dieting but it didn’t work I made paneer roti first times and it did break but I still enjoyed it 😌😌😌
If you opened a Headbanger's Kitchen restaurant, I would eat there for sure. All your recipes are mouth-wateringly good!!
That would be a really catchy name too
They sure are!
Me too Brother ✨🤘✨
Can I book a table please.

Awesome recipe. Some observations:
Website says 8g Psyllium (= 2 TEAspoons), Video says 2 TABLEspoons. I've tried both with NOW brand psyllium. 2TB, the look and texture was very much like naan. 2TSP (8g), the batch was thinner and more like soft taco shells. Both types were delicious.
Ghee neutralizes the coconut flavor and makes crispier edges more than nonstick spray (I like either).
I only use about a 1/2 cup to 3/4 of warm water. A full cup is way too much.
Part of what is so great about this recipe is that is so flexible; it doesn't require exact measurements for good results. And there's room for experimentation. Thank you!
TheWushuliu how much coconut flour did you use? I followed the video and mine came out gooey not sure where I went wrong. It definitely was not bread like or taco like.
@@nicolew9419 Hi Nicole. 1/2 cup coconut flour per the video. Are you using 1 cup of water? If so, try 1/2 cup of water instead.
TheWushuliu thanks and yes I did use 1 cup of water
Thank you! This has become on of our go-to recipes. I've lost 40 lbs since September and the husband has lost 35. You make cooking fun and flavorful again.
I just finished making enchiladas with these. So freaking awesome! Rocking it keto style 😁
i recently started keto diet and i mean it by heart your channel and all these recipes are a huge life saver!!! KUDOS
Oh god I love the nerdy references!! Thank you for experimenting with this for us! I can't justify my cheat days if I can make naan and paratha at home now. Thanks for keeping me keto!
Just made my first keto paneer Parantha... And it tasted deeeelicious...
@5:41 “Reminds me of my South Indian.... well.. I’m not South Indian..” lol! You’re a breath of fresh air! 🤓👍❤️
the best keto recipe ever! so many things you can do with it. Thank you.
glad you dig.
It will kick you of keto bro
You have made my keto journey come to life! Absolutely love your recipes, your energy and humour! You were born to be a UA-camr! Big fan from UK, 🇬🇧 Wishing you continued success!!
Saw this yesterday, tried these today: awesome. Time saving, easy to make, great texture and tastes and looks like the real thing. Amazing recipe. Thank you very much!
I'm just curious if it's too dry? You know how coconut flour is. Or did it come out nicely ?
This recipe is DELICIOUS! I have made it before and we all enjoyed it- so tonight I actually made it into personal pizzas! They were AWESOME! Thanks for all your great recipes- I really LOVE them and they have really helped me to branch out with my Keto and low carb cooking here in the US!
Dear Headbanger , when I first heard your voice it grated and I told you . I apologise now unreservedly . Your recipes are great and AT LAST I have found a bread that doesnt have eggs. Just love that voice ~~~
Sir Chef Headbanger! LOVE, love, love your channel.... you’re so fun to watch! Thank you for all the recipes. Keep them comin!
So happy I found you!!
I have lost almost 50 lbs. Since May 2020 On keto and intermittent fasting, healthiest I've felt in 15 years.
Anyway, I love Indian food (and the people I've met as well as the music and movies).
I have stayed in Northern India a couple of times, and you've brought back so many wonderful memories. Thank you!
I have been cooking Keto for two years and this has to be one of the best recipes I have found. It taste so good and it is very easy to make. My husband just told me tonight that he is so happy that I found this recipe. Used it for soft tacos tonight. Thank you so much for all of your recipes.
I just made this and it’s amazing. Best Keto Bread type recipe I have tried yet. Very simple to make. I’m not a fan of the coconut flavor so I added thyme and garlic powder. Excellent texture and flavor!!!! Oh and lots of butter in the pan...yum
Thanks for your suggestions. I'm big on flavor and love thyme and garlic
Wondered if you can use Almond flour?
I was thinking I’ll do the same thing
How much Thyme and garlic powder did you use?
OMG thank you. You are a beast in the kitchen
My 2 favorite UA-cam channels also
Mine too!
Gotta add Goodie Beats in there to.
Keto King too
And Dr Berg!!!
This recipe is a total desi life saver! My husband absolutely loved it. He’s really attached to proper desi foods like naans and parathas, so it’s hard to please him with keto recipes. It’s very rare he approves of a ketogenic recipe, so your recipe of the keto naan is kind of a big deal! Thank you 😊
Thanks for such amazing channel I have followed your recepies and lost 20 kg on keto . I not only love keto but I recommend your channel to those who ever ask me how did I do keto as it's very complicated. My answer is always go to headbangers kitchen and you'll find all answers.. once again thanks for helping everyone.....
All I can say is Yay!
So delicious! So much fun!
Between you and Megha and Matt, my low carb food prep is fun, easy, and delicious!
So I had this idea of cooking videos with metal... and you already have that covered. Good stuff man. Will be trying out your recipes.
Everything looks so delicious can’t wait to make my own!
These look delicious! Thank you for sharing! ❤
This is really going to help in my ketogenic diet plan....thanks buddy
Deepika joshi Can you help me
Hi Deepika can u help me out about keto diet
Dude, You ROCK!!! These look amazing! (Love the ring ref, too!)
I have missed Indian food while doing keto and this is great that you show us how to make these amazing recipes. I did try keto connects version of the garlic naan like you mentioned and absolutely loved it. Definitely trying out your variations too. 👍
Thank you so much for your recipes!! I never thought I could keep with it, but with your videos I’m doing it
Delish!! Was the best Keto naan I’ve tried, I would say add some seasoning to the dough otherwise even with butter it has no flavor
You are awesome, finally a bread without using a micro wave ❤️
Just made this (1st time ever making Naan bread). I added some garlic to mine. I think I may have added a bit too much water because the dough was a bit gummy... but I rolled it out super thin to a crepe-like thinness, cooked it in coconut oil and a couple of them (the thinner ones) had crispy edges that were just divine! Also liked that the finished "bread" rolls/folds nicely and doesn't crack. Ate it with some Malai Kofta that I made and it was delicious!!! Thank you so much for this great recipe! Will work on tweaking it next time I make it.
Just made the Uttapam version today with tomatoes, spring onions, fresh garlic, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese....I cooked the uttapam with the veg mix in it and then added more of the veg mix on the top. Oh my, these were delicious....my new favourite lunch!!!!!
OMG, OMG... You are amazing! Totally agreeing with you about most of the keto recipes over the internet being poor replacements, bad tasting versions of the actual recipes. I am adding hot water to your recipe (makes it pliable and looks just like a regular dough) and put some Feta cheese into that dough and make some amazing traditional Romanian cheese "pie-like" things........delicious.....thanks and I hope you'll keep making these great recipes and I can keep adapting them to my own taste.......
your idea sounds delicious :D gotta try that as well!
and yeah, he is one of the few persons who show recipes I am excited to try~
I finally made this yesterday and boy it was delllllllicious. Loads of love to you Headbanger's Kitchen - keep them coming. For today it is Almond cheese Dosa.....
I loved this so much! This guy has such a great method and energy! Rock on!!!
I made this for breakfast today. I added mozzarella, fet, olive oil, and a middle eastern herb called za'atar I also used almond flour. OMG. Sooo delicious and simple! This is definitely my new go to recipe I can enjoy with tea or coffee. Thank you so much!
I am going to try that first one with some sweetness and cinnamon mixed into it.
The last one with tomatoes looked real yummy . Keto faux recipe making has improved sooo much in the last 3 years . Thanks to you and others working hard perfecting them .. People where making those Ooppsy rolls , way too much work ! In the end I didn't miss bread that much lol These look very Promising :)
You should have your own Tv Show man! You are Epic! Love all your recipes! Motivates me that i can kick ass in keto! Cheers! 🔥
Why would someone have a TV show when they could have a UA-cam channel and reach many, many more viewers ? :)
Gotta try this recipe ! Watching you enjoying it , is what convinced me!!! Thank you .
I am not a keto-ist but this is a great base recipe for an endlessly creative flow of tasty naans and a very nicely made channel. Four horns up!
I've desperately been missing toasted bread with my morning coffee - thank you for this versatile naan recipe. Now I can also have a Mexican quesadilla made with Indian naan!😘
Kat Williams: OMG! Thinking of a Mexican quesadilla with this just made my mouth watery.
That's a great idea!!
Thank you for making my keto life so much easier !!
Can I just say I love you and your recipes. You are making keto and cooking fun and not torture. Thank you for your channel!! 💜🎉
I miss nann on keto . These all sound so delicious . I love cheese and paneer
Yes thank you!! This was great!, Nice base flat bread recipe
I can't wait to try the naan! I miss that.
Made these today and they are delicious. Its going to be my go to recipe when any kind of bread thing is required. Simple and delicious. Decided to make up pre-measured bagies of the dry ingredients so all I have to do is add the hot water when needed. My worst keto critics loved these too. Thanks Sahil
Excellent idea!
I thank you for teaching me to make my tortillas, that I miss in Keto...
my pleasure :)
So... Do you just make them thinner for a tortilla style... ?
You just added the excitement back into my otherwise dullish keto diet. As a retired baker and cook, joy has come back into my kitchen to roost. Happy day.👨🍳🤠🌶👍🏼
Glad to hear that.
Thank you for this recipe. I have spent several days this week trying other keto flatbread recipes only to have used many expensive ingredients and thrown away batch after batch. These were so easy to make and have a lovely flavor. Thanks again!!!
I made these tonight they came out terrible I don’t know what I did wrong I use the exact ingredients. They came out grainy and undercooked/ overcooked
Any tips would be appreciated.
I am so happy to find this channel today. Due to my diabetes I recently switched to low carb diet and was missing all the delicious Indian dishes you just mentioned. Thankyou indeed.
The naan is an official snack w/coffee for me since I've seen this video. Sometimes with cheese and once with paneer burhgi, delish. Thank you!
Coool. how is the taste though? Is it too sweet? Or coconut-y?
In all fairness, I started watching you because Keto cooking + East Asian (Indian) + Heavy Metal = WHAT?! Who can resist the completely unexpected? And especially with this video - ESPECIALLY with this video - I can't thank you enough. One of my biggest challenges with Keto is that everything I eat is wet... translation, not remotely close to dry; like starchy foods fried/baked/dried, and this one tiny thing was literally keeping me from embracing keto for more than a few days at a time.
So I found a few recipes for "keto bread" here and there but they were either eggs disguised as bread or had the texture of sponge cake or were more work than I really wanted to invest into a piece of something dry to eat that wasn't beef jerky. But HERE! I finally found a form of bread that makes me happy, it is fast, it is easy, it is simple and it is Indian... along with the tons of other Indian based other recipes here making keto a lot more palatable than the standard American bacon, eggs, cheese, repeat recipes I find a lot of. (Nothing wrong with it but sometimes, you just want something different in life)
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have no idea what a huge relief being able to make these little naans and parathas are for me. I can finally do this keto without worrying about slipping up because I desperately wanted something dry like a piece of bread for a change. Rock on!
This is the best keto channel I’ve ever been on and I’m not even on keto. The recipes are easy, look tasty and fun. It makes me think being on keto is easy. And the three ingredients is such an amazing idea!
sahil thanks for the recipe-it was amazing-filled the gap of nan paratha bread-tried it the first time and I slightly overcooked it and it was so soft and didnt break at all-
it was even better than the roti parathas etc-i cooked mines in lurpack butter-
i am on coconut flat breads , thank you for sharing
Omg I just made uttapam following this recipe and its sooo good. I don't want it to end! Definitely hit the spot... Yummmmmmmm
Thanks a Ton. I just love love love your recipes and your hard rock style. Best keto channel ever!
You are the king of keto...nobody is as versatile as you in keto. Thai...Indian...Italian...Desert ...just name it and you have it...My husband has lost around 10kg weight with just your recipes...I m wondering why you left keto...this is your talent...you have come out with every possible dish in keto...anyways I m happy that this channel is going on...We can continue to enjoy keto recipes...keep rocking🤘🏻🤘🏻
just tried this and it was amzing! the four combination replicates the fermented rice flour in a beautiful way. it also slightly reminds me of an omlette when made as an uttapam which is so nice because im allergic to eggs! i plan on making these for many things! thanks heaps :)
All Hail Headbangers Kitchen! You are my hero! I'm just starting keto and love Indian food! And flatbreads. Thank You! Please do more Indian food.
always give the ingredients in your list
Love these flatbreads with cheese and butter. Best thing is the glow of feeling full without the gluten bloating
I've only been following Keto for a month and this is so exciting. To be able to go to town on all of these healthy fats is amazing.
Easiest way of eating on the planet!
I so need to make some recipes! I love Indian food! My daughter lives in India and I fell in love with all the great food and now how I can make them Keto friendly!
“Totally reminds me of my South Indian.... well I’m not South Indian” lmao! Love the recipe I’m soooo excited to try it, thank you so much!!!
Thank you so much! I replaced it coconut flour with almond flour and I'm loving it! I made twice as many so that I can cook whenever we're hungry.
Just beautiful naan flatbread headbanger. You are the best SLAYER! 10/10
After the failed dosa. I made the nann, success! I added prosciutto, green onion. Good texture e yummy. Thank you.
Thank you! I just made this today. Trying to figure out how to share the pictures. I was craving roti and had it with a fresh Keto cauliflower-cabbage-eggplant bhaji. I was Vegan Keto 🥰
What else you eat in vegan keto
Thanku so much for all these amazing recipes, its so delicious and satisfied my indian food cravings, cant thank you enough for this. When I started keto for few weeks i was kind of bored eating eggs, chicken, fish and greens🙄 thank you again for making keto yummy and easy 🙏🙏
I am so glad you didn't end your intro with the words, "... and in the darkness, bind them." Otherwise, very creative. Recently found your channel, will definitely watch more.
Thank you 🙏 this are the best “tortillas “
I've missed my grandmother's parathas, I never knew how she made them. Now I might have a go at making them for myself.
Made these today. Delicious!! Highly recommend! Will be buying your book on Amazon
Seriously u make it so easy to follow the keto diet with ur simple yet tasty recipies
So glad I found this channel , about to have a baby and planning out my keto weight loss recovery😂...your recipes look delicious, look forward to making them👍
Keto Naan??? Dude!! Is it my birthday??? Freaking happy dancing in my kitchen!!!😁👍🏽✌🏽💃🏽
Love this video and the great instructions and demo. Yum.
I made one with cream cheese filling and it was WONDERFUL! Thanks you I prefer these over the keto bread to be honest. I can see myself using these as buns for sandwiches so soft and good thank you.
Your cheese and broccoli soup is amazing thank you 😋
Omg i just tried this pratha, it's super delicious. I am really amazed, cause i don't even like the taste of coconut flour. But this is over the top, like all your recipes that i've tried, i don't taste the cocunut overpowering. I even made a pan-pizza with it. Love it love it love it, thank you
Did you use psyllium husk or psyllium husk powder?
@@TropiChic the powder
Thrilled with how good these are. Just the right amount of fluffiness and chewyness. I pressed in nigella seeds on one and chopped garlic & garlic powder on another. Both cooked in ghee. Delicious!
Oh my goodness the moment you started the Lord of the rings speech *in your style* I was already sold!! Then the headbanging metal.. Yes!
HEADBANGER'S GOT MY SUBSCRIPTION!... and no doubt all my friends too, once they get a chance to dig a few vids! Thaannk Yoou!!!
I’ve been using this recipe with mixing shredded cheeses and I love it. I don’t like it alone though.
Such a simple and excellent recipe! I love it. My wife loves it. You are great - thank you!
This made me very happy to watch. My husband and I LOVE Indian food and since we went on the keto diet, we were bummed that we could no longer have any of the traditional breads of India. Thanks to you, we now can enjoy it again. And I can only imagine how delicious it is made with coconut flour! WE APPRECIATE your wonderful demo. We subscribed too! ☺
Sahil,
Sorry for the late comment. I made all these flatbread the same week I saw this channel but somehow I forgot to let you know how delicious they were! Btw, I added some chopped green chillies and freshly plucked coriander to the Uttapam filling and it was a bomb 💣
I shall make some again later this evening. Thank you again and God bless 🙏 ❤
LOL! You rock! LOVE your recipes!
I tried the paneer paratha.. absolutely amazing.. I added little almond flour when i made 2nd time. It turned out very tasty too..Thanks for all keto recipes.
What kind of paneer u use pls
This was awesome! Tastes really great and very filling. The perfect accompaniment to any curry.
