    Nice to see some of the older guys getting some love! Great quality of work as usual. A&E seem to have some tremendous tradesmen working for them, and they aren't afraid to talk in front of a camera!

    Nice video, plenty of info for the beginner, why didnt you take those 2/3 top sheets above the door all the way to the corner though?

    You shouldn't cross line if you're going to paint it because the seams will eventually open because of gravity. Cross line when papering over and vertical when painting over.

    i think you should have explained what 'cross lining' is. I had no idea what it was until your video, but I googled it. Never realised that it's usually used like an 'underlay' for wallpaper.

    Hey. Why didn’t you just crossline all the way across that wall rather than having to add the two extra pieces?

    I bet most of the work went in the day before prepping the walls.... 90% of a job is prep. Great to see craftsmen, decorators should be the best payed on a job,but never are. 👍🏻

    You roll paste onto the length underneath? Double pasting/soaking it.

    Hi. Do you leave a small gap between the edges of the sheets of paper. Ive put it up before with little or no gap and when painted the edges seemed to expand and became very noticeable ?

      Hi RR , No we butt joint all lining paper, if you soak the lining paper for the correct time and size the walls correctly you shouldn’t have a problem. Hope that helps cheers Chris

    If just painting over is there any benefit to hanging horizontal vs vertical?

    • @chrisfoster5098
      @chrisfoster5098 4 роки тому +1

      Good question I would say yes because if you paint over it after hanging then in a few years you decide to paper the room you will not have to strip it hope that helps Chris
