- The Zuidas is a developing and growing living and business district in the south of Amsterdam.
A sort of smaller version of La Défense in Paris and Canary Wharf in London which were influences in the development plans.
Future development could include an underground line directly to the airport. Another high-speed link has been proposed by a consortium of companies between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Amsterdam Zuid and the city of Almere.
Walking route:
0:00 Beethovenstraat. With the Valley under construction.
3:00 Gustav Mahlerlaan, the main Zuidas street.
6:15 Gustav Mahlerplein (square) with the main trainstation, various restaurants and the Abn Amro Gardens
14:50 Aaron Coplandstraat and the Claude Debussylaan
16:15 Parnassusweg
21:55 Boelelaan. among the buildings here is the The VU University Amsterdam. Feel free to ask me any questions :)

Cant wait to see this place in a few years. So many more big and iconic projects in development. For example , they just announced a 86 meter tall wooden office building, one of the tallest of its kind.

The wooden high rise. It's being build in the Amstel station area and going up right now.
@@wanderingthomas Yeah thats a different one though. "Haut" I believe, a residential tower. The Zuid-As one is an office building and construction will start in the near future.
