Man!! I love this video!!! Being that I just took ownership of a 16' Grizzly 700 SE, I especially like how the Yammy got through with little fuss... While the heavy 1000cc Twins managed to just blast in and quickly dig their own holes... Bad thing is.... I kind of wish I had that 1000/Twin ...LOL
+Lance Hodges yeah, no shit. Grizz rider not using diff lock, or low range. Polaris rider.. must see.. speaks for itself. Not only that... The polaris is too much machine for that little bean pole. It was tossing him around like a rag doll.
On a serious note all 3 did awesome, I know this is a old video I stumbled on but how does the Yamaha normally compare to the Polaris and can am in the mud? Is one better than that other or can anyone make it that the other one can't? Any help would be great thanks!
+D Schwoeppe No good in these conditions. They are meant for mud bog racing where there is deep water with a decent bottom. Meant to sink and get traction.
mambas are heavy. Work great but to heavy for me. The visco on this machine takes a few revs to kick in the 4th tire. Like to put a qe visco in at some point
That poor grizzly guy gets good work out all the time with all that getting off and pushing. Time do downsize tires or upgrade bike some some can am juice for those 31s
yall don't know nothing about yamaha.. I have a 2016 kodiak 700 with 29.5 assassinators 2inch lift kit and a klutch kit and I be pulling out can-ams and Polaris does its job right I'm glad I pick this yamaha can't kill it.. put money into it to get it how you want it to run... money talk.... thus is how you separate the men from the boys....
So the grizzly is rated lower than both of these and out beats both of them by like 3x the time. Don't see what is sooo good about them $14,000 can am besides power and weight.
The Grizzly does work good as you'll see if you watch the rest of the vids we have up. As far as comparison goes, each machine is set up a little different. Tire choice(crushed outlaws 2's) didn't work the best in this type of hole for the polaris. The Can Am lacks the big lift clearance here and has the shortest tires. It's all about the mods and you can't deny horsepower helps in a lot of situations.
both front wheels kick in with a couple revolutions on the Visco lok. about a 1/4 revolution on the QE Visco on the xxc and xmr. Seems like a decent system to me.
+infamouscoma886 Artic cat lacks power. highly doubtful. I have a 1,000cc Artic cat "XT" and it smokes all of these brands in any kind of race. also depends on what type of upgrades u have going in ur motors
They can as long as the offsets are the same. Qsc site has been under construction for a while but stm also makes a primary to go along with your driven, and i've heard good things about the stm/stm combo. I think i am going to go with a full stm clutch combo on my renegade.

Can I just say the dude on the Polaris doesn't know how to mud ride
They are out there making an effort. Easy to criticize. Looks like they are having a good time. Great video.
Love the sound of those twins
i see why that dude with the polaris has all the mods he cant mud ride hahaha
+Lance Hodges yeah, no shit. Grizz rider not using diff lock, or low range. Polaris rider.. must see.. speaks for itself. Not only that... The polaris is too much machine for that little bean pole. It was tossing him around like a rag doll.
Right now I own a 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660
What axles does the eight fitty have?
On a serious note all 3 did awesome, I know this is a old video I stumbled on but how does the Yamaha normally compare to the Polaris and can am in the mud? Is one better than that other or can anyone make it that the other one can't? Any help would be great thanks!
In mud Polaris and can am do better but of you want one to last up to 20 years with small mantaince get Honda or yamaha
What's axles does the polaris have?
The grizzly did it much easier, no fuss , could have dug it up but chose not to .
grantoyamaha no it couldn’t, had way more tire on it than it could handle
Mjchild33 j
What's the point of crushed tires? All it seems to me is giving you less tire to disperse the weight on
+D Schwoeppe more traction
+D Schwoeppe No good in these conditions. They are meant for mud bog racing where there is deep water with a decent bottom. Meant to sink and get traction.
that renegade is a beast!
Where do you order your lift kits at?
The polaris has an Outkast Fabworx lift. Pretty sure he bought it directly from them.
hot seat performance?? is it just a slip on?
i believe it is, yeah.
NOS Atvs I hear black mamba tires are very good and at 7:40 it looked like another case of three wheel drive
mambas are heavy. Work great but to heavy for me. The visco on this machine takes a few revs to kick in the 4th tire. Like to put a qe visco in at some point
they're not much better but i'd say try to find a locked front diff so you can pull it out of that mud hole easier
The grizzly looks like it needs some clutch work
Catvosed right
That polaris 850 was a savage thats why like it more than cancam
Yeah it was a beast.
Nice video guys keep me up
Never expect a Polaris to go all in
June 30 is my birtherday I like that can am it was like a monster
That poor grizzly guy gets good work out all the time with all that getting off and pushing. Time do downsize tires or upgrade bike some some can am juice for those 31s
Grizzly doesn't have enough power to turn those big ass tires in the dookey.
Am I the only Yamaha fan here?
Collective Gamer117 nope. Im still a yamaha fan. I like the renegade but have owned a lot of yamaha machines.
Sweet, can am conquers with no lift, after the lifted bike. Hp proven.
Black Beauty The lift is coming.

rick ramirez oh they are all good as long as they get you outside having fun with good friends. I also have a kodiak. tough machine.
Very tough...I'm loving it and the fun...
That poor old grizzly can barely move with those tires
TRX250r08 yea doesn’t have enough power to spin em
Got a 2 1/2 but want a bigger one like 5 or 6
for a grizzly?
Yes
seth cook Yeah, the grizzly has a 5 1/2" lift from gorilla axle I believe. Not sure if they still stock the lift though.
Grizzly: Make the hole bigger. Polaris: Get out of the hole. Can Am: Make a new hole after the first hole.
haha awesome.

The gade out did the hell out of that grizzly and xp
To much tire for the grizzly
GRIZZLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Polaris driver is drunk! Go gome dude!!
big tires like that burn your belt up
Not bad if the machine is clutched for it.
ok thanks for reply...
nice four wheelers
Thanks for watching.
The guy on the polaris needs to learn how to drive
haha. I take it you're a polaris fan.
Outlaw Gade indeed
NOS Atvs the guy had to go swimming to reverse it's irrelevant whether hes a polaris fan.. this guy cannot drive period lol
KingCrans30 I can porboly drive beter than him
For real though
too much tire for that grizz to handle
POS can am also 3 wheel driving it.
both front wheels kick in with a couple revolutions on the Visco lok. about a 1/4 revolution on the QE Visco on the xxc and xmr. Seems like a decent system to me.
On the grizzly he should get a clutch kit. Helps a lot!
oh my .....I am so GLAD I didn't get a grizzly
Yeah they lack power just like Arctic cat! Get a can-am or Polaris! Or even a brute force you can't go wrong with those!
agreed totally
+infamouscoma886 Artic cat lacks power. highly doubtful. I have a 1,000cc Artic cat "XT" and it smokes all of these brands in any kind of race. also depends on what type of upgrades u have going in ur motors
lulz
+Tyler Smith you must have a rare cat then...they usually are not that strong....congratulations
That 850 sounds like trash
cole Herren because it is 😂
The guy of the grizzly is a beginner for sure
That grizzly was probably in high instead of low
+Devan S Nah...it its clutched really low but still had some difficulty turning these 31's
llamf
that my friends is how you ruin your machine, ITS NOT A SUBMARINE!
haha. It's been over 2 years since this one and still working good. Actually works quite a bit better now.
tpike46w there's something called a snorkel so you don't ruin your machine bid😊
tpike46w lol come here to canada. this is all we do.
Grizzly = 3 wheel driving it
wasn't in diff lock. With diff lock Yamaha is a true 4x4.
what exhaust does that Polaris have
hsp
what clutches does the sportsman have on it?
stock clutches with a qsc clutch kit
NOS Atvs so how does it turn them? looks fine to me! and can any clutch fit any bike? like could you put a qsc primary and stm secondary on this?
They can as long as the offsets are the same. Qsc site has been under construction for a while but stm also makes a primary to go along with your driven, and i've heard good things about the stm/stm combo. I think i am going to go with a full stm clutch combo on my renegade.
