Lucky Goose just thinking same thing. Big ass tires and those little diff gears meshing to make it all happen. Gotta admit even though I’m riding a next to new 07 700 grizzly those canams r pretty damn impressive
That rene looks like it is a great machine. I'm thinking maybe it's time to trade in the outta 1000! You guys look like you have great riding up there!!!
One thing the grizzly guy doing that the others aren't is getting through the mud easier and more effective atleast to me. I don't know why people think that you need 1000 hp to spin the tires when all you're essentially doing is just during whatever traction you have left And making it even harder to get out of.
jritch789 i hear ya....the grizz works damn good everytime we go out. people seem to be stuck on a comparison point of view. They like what they like and seem to hate the rest.
That grizzly struggles, to roll those tries over, now on the other hand my grizzly 660,(bored. 680) has no trouble rolling over black mambas. That are 27"
Nikolai Hyytiainen no problem. In my opinion it's worth buying the quiet cores for these mufflers for the occasional ride when you want stock volume (Hunting, etc). They are cheap and easy to swap in/out.
Outlaw Gade seem like the grizzly is underpowered to death any idea if a 650 outlander could pull better? been looking at this option for maybe a future purchase Im looking for reliability im the kind of guy that let sit is atv in the snow bank at -30 and start it and go ride lol
He's running 31 outlaws and his clutch shims need to be replaced imo. The 650 outlander sits closer to 62hp I think and the ol 660 grizz is around 42hp so yeah, it should pull better. As far as reliability, I haven't owned the Can Am that long but it has been a great machine so far(And I don't tend to play easy on it) and as far as Yamaha goes I think they focus on reliability.
King Tragedy All depends what you are using it for. I have a Kodiak 450 for plowing, firewood, etc. and it is excellent for that. The wet clutch in a Yamaha is easier on the belt for pulling heavy loads vs. a snowmobile style clutch.
I am amazed the drive train on that Grizzly can handle those monster tires.

Now we see why we love our torq lockers
That dang grizzly can not even turn the tires it has
probs wasnt in low
@@milkparker4479 well I have a 550 grizzly and have now problem turning 27 black mombas
That rene looks like it is a great machine. I'm thinking maybe it's time to trade in the outta 1000! You guys look like you have great riding up there!!!
Trails are pretty much endless where we are. The Gade has been working awesome so far. Thinking the rear stretch might be nice in the future.
Outlaw Gade Endless trails would be amazing. I am going to look into it I'm thinking you guys are approximately 3.5 hrs away which isn't that far.
Is it just me or does everybody always hate on the grizzly when it is in a video. The grizzly still made it through. I have an 04 and it is so fun.
Collective Gamer117 Yeah...i don't get it either
nice vid man this summer im hoping to get a outlander
Matthew Hoffmann 1000?
ya man
Right on. You can't go wrong.
haha dam right man there bad ass
Just got a 660 raptor

its all just for fun over here.

I agree! Definitely a fan base for sure. Thank you for the information, now go have fun and make some more awesome videos lol!
Where was Finntrail back in 2014 .... 😂😂😂
That grizzly struggles, to roll those tries over, now on the other hand my grizzly 660,(bored. 680) has no trouble rolling over black mambas. That are 27"
Miguel Quiroz decent.
+NOS Atvs do a brute do better with beefy tire? gonna need to go can am if it that bad
+MrBonami2 a 700 grizz or 750 brute force would turn em fine. I would probably stick with a 30" tire on them.
+NOS Atvs thank you
same i run 29.5 outlaws on my grizzly 660 and it is also a 680 and it turns them fine
Why on Can Ams do only 3 wheels spin a lot of the time?
Kurtis Kelly Visco-lok doesn't engage because the front wheel isn't slipping. Once it does, it becomes true 4x4.
Usually its a sign that an axle shit the bed
Its been all good but I did twist the rear drive shaft like a twig got a gorilla one on order white spring on secondary equals broke rear shaft
Does the grizzly need clutch work or were you just babying it to keep from breaking something?
badas95Z It's clutched out but he does tend to baby it, more so to climb out I think.
That Grizzly needs a clutch kit
He has one its his problem is it's a grizzley and Yamaha doesn't make very powerful bikes!
lol
What did you record with?? The quality is amazing!
A camera
@@gear1264 damn who would’ve thought
Right between :11 and :12 there is a horrible sound of something snapping/breaking/just sounding wrong.
It's actually the camera mic. It tries to normalize the volume. Terrible built in option.
What kind of exhaust is that renegade running?
HMF Dual performance slipon
Thank you! Getting a renegade sometime this year, now i know what exhaust to get...sounds amazing
Nikolai Hyytiainen no problem. In my opinion it's worth buying the quiet cores for these mufflers for the occasional ride when you want stock volume (Hunting, etc). They are cheap and easy to swap in/out.
what kind of tires on the outty
at this point 29.5 outlaws s/w
the can am sounds so good but the grizzly was annoying
mxshee 450 the grizzly just wasn’t loud like the can-ams were
What is a year and model exactly of can am renegade 1000
Damian Paszkowski this one is a 2014 1000 standard.
Damian Paszkowski did a lot of mods to it following this vid. Recently picked up a 2018 xmr renegade.
So i standard 1000 x plus modification?
The yellow
Damian Paszkowski yeah just a standard 2014 renegade 1000 with the rad relocate clutches and it had a 2" lift on it at this point.
you got muddy
Lol 1 that grizzly is in high and 2 it's only a 660
I agree but I have a 550 that turns 27 mombas in high with no problem
Right 660 not 686 there not a big difference your looking for efi
sweden ??
Canada
+NOS Atvs thanks
Grizzly 450?
it's an 03 660.

MrBonami2 yes the 650 pulls harder the outty 500 has more hp than the 700 griz.
MrBonami2 I own a 2002 yamaha grizzly 660. They are pretty good atv . I own it since 2002 they are very reliable it didn't have any problems
Watching that Yamaha barely spin the wheels was painful to watch!!
note to self never buy a grizzly.
Andrew Cummings Grizzlies are great, and they are very reliable and cheap for what they can do
I have a 660 and has never let me down. Gutless ass fuck but shes reliable lol
There is not a grizzly 1000 like really dude it look like a 700 or 350
+Just Fantastic LOL, its a 660 Grizzly.
Yamaha grizzlys suck! Can am beat yamaha every day!
583skidooman id say grizzlies are pretty good considering your a comparing a single cylinder to a v twin rotax engine
King Tragedy True, i dont mind grizzlys, its the kodiaks im not a fan of.
same lol
King Tragedy All depends what you are using it for. I have a Kodiak 450 for plowing, firewood, etc. and it is excellent for that. The wet clutch in a Yamaha is easier on the belt for pulling heavy loads vs. a snowmobile style clutch.
That grizzly is junk and has no power and can't turn its tires
He needs a massive gear reduction
Your wrong on the “junk” part, but it is hard for the grizzly to turn with the oversized tires
