So waterproof? Like step in deep puddle halfway up the boot and water wont go into them holes or anywhere else?
The holes between the sole and the midsole don't go inside the boot where your foot is. They provide additional space for water vapor inside the boot (your sweat) to pass through the waterproof Gore-Tex membrane. So you can step in a deep puddle up to the height of the gaiter and stay perfectly dry inside the boots. Some water will flow through those holes, sure, but it will quickly drain. Since the holes don't go through the waterproof membrane, you stay dry. The same is true of the vented upper. The venting doesn't go through the waterproof Gore-Tex membrane liner. The vented upper just helps the Gore-Tex work better to let sweat pass through the breathable Gore-Tex membrane. -DrewZilla

What exact jeans and boots does spurge wear the brown boots in previous videos?
I believe the jeans are just regular jeans, but he has had the REV'IT! Rodeo Boots and the Rokker Urban Racer Boots. The red laces were purchased randomly separately. -DrewZilla

It should be mentioned that they are very big/bulky in the front(inside and outside). It's about 1 cm higher in the shifter/brake area compared to a "normal" boot(or compared to TCX Airtech), which can be very disturbing.
Agree, but the solution is fix more up shifter, and all done mate !

Yes, it's a solution. If it works for the person.
Shifter up 1 cm, means on shifting down one has to lift the foot that 1 cm more... I found it very disturbing.
