I wasn't sure about holes in the sole until I tried Geox shoes in rainy places. They worked, so these boots (or their successors) are probably going my next boots in this Mediterranean weather (which has monsoon grade waterfalls by the end of summer).
hi, nice boots. just one question, how to clean those holes from mud if we come in contact with it? i think first contact with some kind of mud they going to cement those holes....
You can spray or soak the soles in water if you get a lot of mud in them, but also keep in mind that these are generally intended for on-road use, not off-road use, so they aren't intended to be used a lot in mud. -DrewZilla
The Clima Surround should perform better. For me, it fits a bit wider than the Airtech EVO. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/tcx-clima-surround-gtx-boots
Via the link in the description. I've also put the link below. The current price is listed there. They are on pre-order and are expected to come into stock mid-November. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/tcx-clima-surround-gtx-boots
As far as boot protection goes, we think these are actually quite good. They're CE-rated and include internal toe, heel, shin, and ankle protection. -DrewZilla
@@RevZilla do they come in wide width, not just w. Need EEE. Most all manufacturers dont. And as people age, much like most motorcycle riders their feet get wider.
Though they are slightly wide, they do not come in wider widths. No manufacturer we carry has a true EEE width unfortunately. The Tour Master Epic Air Boots are similar in function and come in wide EE widths. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/tour-master-epic-air-boots

Best salesman ever
I downsized my options to 2 boots for summer riding; This TCX Clima Surround & Alpinestars AIr Plus V2. What's @revzilla recommendation?
@revzilla What's the main difference between TCX Clima and the Explorer 4? It's "just" the Surround technology?
For the most part yes, the rest being design/style. The Surround Tech from Gore does add a considerable area of breathability to the WP liner.
If it is fully waterproof and breathable, why only 3 season? Is it due to it being breathable to the point that it would be too cold in the winter???
Yes, they have enough mesh and ventilation that they will feel too cold in winter. -DrewZilla
these look really really comfortable..and kinda wide footed. are they comfortable?
I have a wide-ish foot, and these are very comfortable for me. -DrewZilla

Is it comfortable for kawasaki z900?
Which would perform better for longer touring days in spring/summer/fall? This or the airtech evo GTX? I also have a wide foot.
The Clima Surround should perform better. For me, it fits a bit wider than the Airtech EVO. -DrewZilla

I find the soles to be pretty grippy personally. -DrewZilla

Do you have a limited amount of time for your videos. Very informative but why do you talk so fast.
Nice but not much protection

The shoes are not waterproof at all, and I have been pitted miserably.
