I've been a plant mom for 58 years, and I love it just as much now as I did when I got my first ivy plant. I can't imagine my life without plants in it. The word common should maybe be replaced with staple. So many of the plants have been in existence for decades. how awesome is that and not common. ❤❤❤❤ love your channel and your collection. Happy growing to everyone.
I am 69 years wise and have been keeping houseplants for decades. I currently have about one hundred plants in my collection. I have and love the A. Silver Dragon.
I absolutely looooove my dragon scale and my Krimson Queen 😍 My Queen is currently blooming and I am OBSESSED! Mind you, I am not a hoya person, my queen is the only Hoya in my collection. I wish I could share pictures in comments so everyone could see them cause I am constantly photographing them since I noticed my first peduncle lol 😆
Hello great plants I have the ric rac cactus and I love it it’s growing for me and I’ve seen in a ufo pots hanging down. It’s beauty and I just started this new hobby a couple months back and I’m loving it……just have to cut down on the purchasing side.
I looove the ric-rac cactus in UFO planters; it looks so cool that way! Welcome to the hobby!! It's definitely so easy to get carried away with buying new plants at first haha, but just take your time and enjoy 💕
I love maranta! Mine I rescued from target and ever since she’s been happy. I think because she could’ve had worse. I just popped her on my breakfast table and within a month flowered. I like her because I am an over waterer in a way and anytime she’s too droopy I get happy to water! Haha
I'd say I water it about once a week, but it's also in lower light, so it balances out and isn't too bad! It would probably thrive more if I had it in higher light, and then I'd possibly switch it to a ceramic or plastic pot, but I like the location that it's in & it's happy enough that I'm happy!
any plant can be susceptible to pests if they're stressed out, though from my personal experience, I don't think I've ever had a pest on any of the plain green adansonii I've owned (I used to have multiple, but I consolidated my collection). I've had a mild case of mealy bugs on my variegated adansonii once, but I got rid of them pretty easily. but of course, everyone has a different experience - that has just been mine!
thanks so much for watching! 💖

Great picks🎉 Thanks for the content 😁
I’m either you, not actively trying to find everything on my wishlist, just loving what I’ve got
I have also pretty much stopped "hunting" out plants.
I LOVE my Summer Glory and grow her on a pole. And my ric rac really needs a repot...

thank you so much!
Ha….first! Good morning 😃
good morning!!!
Wow, with our Brazil in terracotta, do you have to water a lot. I find mine is very very thirsty so I put it in semi hydro. 🌻🌻

Hi Joy! Do you know of any plant swaps coming up in Ohio? I live near Akron and my older boys live in the Columbus and Toledo areas.
Unfortunately, I do not :( I'm not the best at keeping tabs on that sort of thing! But I'll be sure to come back and let you know if I hear of any.
I've been so scared to take home an adansonii because I hear they are very prone to pest is that true?
