I have recently purchased some Aglaonemas and have to say I'm obsessed! The colours are gorgeous and that makes me so happy. They will be living in my bedroom and I'm sure will cope with the lower lighting in that room. I've enjoyed watching your June favouites, thanks for sharing them with us.
THAT GIGAS LEAF!!!! 🤯 I also have the plants I'm sending you (unless you are coming to Chicago in July...I'm trying to manifest this lol). Yay that El Choco is doing well! My original one became a tiny chonk and is living in a jar. I noticed the other day it has 2 leaves! And I got a second one that's a bit more mature (palm sized leaves), has 4 leaves with a new one coming, is living in moss in 100% humidity and is doing GREAT. But I have no clue how/when to transition it out of the jar and into either soil or pon. That polyneura is the polyneura of my dreams. Mine is...struggling. Oh! And I have a few of my 47" tall lazy moss poles I'm going to send you. You could easily move the Gigas to one of them so you don't have to chop it yet!
I don't think I'l be able to come to Chicago in July 😢 our schedule is PACKED and we've got two weddings back to back!! that's so good to hear that your el choco survived! but yeah... the trick of transitioning it is another problem haha. ahhh that would be amazing!
pretty much all of my anthurium are by barrina grow lights (or the equivalent of medium-bright indirect light!). I use a mix of happy frog potting soil, orchid bark, coconut husk, and chunky perlite!

I believe I found that one on Etsy!
