Hi, Cool looking rifle, my question would be, how do I put a tensioner on me, to make me shoot better. lol. Really enjoy all your videos and doing business with you guys. Quick story , I am a 66 yo guy that 18 months ago knew nothing of modern air rifles. Had BB gun when I was a kid and pretty sure I could throw the bb further than it could shoot, lol. I have several powder burner guns that I used to enjoy shooting, but changes in my life, moving, etc didn’t really allow me to be able to shoot them in recent years. Then I discovered this darn thing called UA-cam and became more aware of what modern air rifles and pistols can do, and In no time I was hooked. Made some new friends as a result which was a bonus. My favorite channel is air gun detectives, great guy , great reviews on a wide variety of air guns. There are a few other channels that are good as well. I honestly done understand why this sport is no bigger than it is, the fact that it’s mostly backyard friendly, I built a gun room / range in my basement. I live in North east so inside shooting for me is great, in the process now of doing a range in my backyard to be able to do a little longer and messy shooting. So in just under 2 years I have purchased over 50 air guns, some inexpensive ones and several hi end , most came from AOA my favorite air gun store, great service, staff very helpful all around, highly recommended. Very enjoyable sport that you can get into for $500.00 or less or you can fall off the wagon and spend several thousand $$ like I did, and love every part of it. Thanks guys for all you do.

Barrel tensioners have been around long before FX experimented with one. The AAA Evol has used one all along to name one.
You know that the barrel tensioning system from fx is a piece of shit. I can see your channel is full with brk/daystate and you even test products for them. Why you leave al those negative comments here about brk/daystate?
@@BT-st4ho barrel tensioning of any kind negatively effects accuracy and performance, even FX’s barrel tensioner system - why do you think FX has moved away from it? It was established over 100 years ago that barrel tensioner equipment negatively effected accuracy and performance, this is why every firearm manufacturer has work to develop full free floating barrels as this is where the accuracy and performance is best.
Daystate and BRK have a nasty habit of copying Others, particularly FX, they had to modify the first batch of Ghosts to prevent a lawsuit because they were virtually identical to the FX Wildcat model, and here is a classic example of them copying FX again. Do you think a 16mm steel barrel can be tensioned further with a horribly designed clamp that jams set screw into the barrel and damaging it and then crush a carbon fibre tuber between that and the end! 😂
Fx designed their tension system (I’m not a fan of either) to eliminate barrel droop on their 700mm - 800mm flimsy barrel systems, then BRK copy it for the 16mm bull barrel design when there is no need. (But anything to try and keep up hey)
Another problem with Daystate/BRK is the lack of openness, honesty and transparency to speak freely. Copying someone else in the hope to keep up with the competition and all in the name of making money is not a leading manufacturer in any industry. But speaking honestly and openly nowadays is classed as speaking negatively. What has the world come too……
@@precisionairguns5553 i thought that the lawsuit was about the power wheel that fx has patented?.. The electronic rifles that Daystate is producing for a long time now, are like no other. Its their own produced technology. I don't see any similarity's in Daystate rifles compared to FX rifles in terms of esthetics and technology. Yes, the Ghost looks like the Impact, but with a one piece block and a solid barrel. FX's concept of a externally adjustable rifle was ground breaking in the airgun world. Naturally other companies will follow as in every other industry. Not only brk follows.
further more, you said in another post in this video (a post that AOA has deleted i think) that Daystate/brk make terrible rifles and have terrible customer service. That really surprised me to hear that from you, since you worked with Daystate/BRK and have tested the slug barrel with a Ghost. We had a conversation in the comments in one of your videos and you where very positive about the new barrel and the Ghost. You even recommend the Ghost to me to buy. Now you seemed to be turned 180 degrees??...
Regards to the tensioning barrel, I haven't see results with or without next to each other and haven't any practical experience myself with a tensioning system. I've seen a Alpha Wolf and a Ghost with a tensioning barrel in competition and they had great success with them. Both where manufactured by the shooters them self. To celebrate the success the limited edition ghost have the same tensioning system that Fady Kiwan used in competition (probably the same as in this video). If accuracy will suffer with this tensioning system, brk cut themselves in the fingers. note that also Epic use a tensioning system as comes standard with the rifle, and their long range accuracy is on its own. Also ive read about por performance when people switched to a tensioning system on their FX rifles.

Actually, if you listened to the video, we are clear that the gun shoots great as is, but this upgrade accessory makes it even better for the competition shooter. Otherwise, it would be an added cost for the average guy when it may not be necessary or wanted.
