Hello, I have an Rti prophet 2 with a magazine similar to the one in the Ghost and to settle the pellets in the bottom it is good to hit it with one hand in the palm of the other
Sorry to ask such a basic question but I’m looking to get my first PCP. After studying what’s on the market for quite a while I’m very much sold on this Ghost (the FAC version in .22). I absolutely love everything about it especially the mono block design. Would you say this is a good choice over an Impact M3? I’ll be using my PCP for target work, plinking and occasional vermin disposal. I have absolutely no experience taking PCP’s apart nor repairing them and have no desire to. My rifle must be very reliable, accurate and fairly easy to service in the event something will eventually go wrong. I cannot overstate how excellent your channel is, hence why I value your opinion. Thank you
Hi, I would say 100% ghost very accurate, reliable, well made and gives good power out of the box with no mucking around, a very solid platform. I have an M3 (sub 12 ) and i have shot a lot of FAC m3's they are a great gun but you do need to muck around with them a lot if your into that it's great but if your not it's a pain, the Ghost you just shoot and it works i have only shot the 30 in FAC but it was a real treat . the ghost is a little heaver than the M3 and the standard grip isn't as nice as the fx IMO i hope this helps and if it's your first PCP you will be shocked how good they can be 😀 good luck with whatever you get 😀 and thanks for watching 😀

Hi Jeff thanks for another great video, been trying to buy a new pcp over the last couple of months but so many great ones out there I had narrowed it down to the katran, krait or the ghost, but didn't feel comfortable with the katran haven't handled a krait yet, but was waiting for a ghost to be available to try but I do like the look of the brk pathfinder and the brk XR sniper see what I mean too many good guns out there. All the best 👍
Another interesting video as always, I agree that a gun at this price should come with two magazines. I'm currently considering one of these against an FX maverick or the yet to be released epic 2 from Epic airguns, that might be an interesting project for you. Can't wait to see what you do to finesse the ghost though.
Grip is AK. I have just fitted the AGR-47 Fab Defense rubber grip. A huge improvement. Agree about the trigger. i found mine was like pressing a rubber ball. Loads of creep and way too heavy for my tastes. Ive much improved the trigger creep and weight although Iv clipped the spring to lighten it.
hello jeff can i ask you a question pleas ? do you know when you should do a service on the ghost ? i mean after how many shots should you change the o-rings? greetings from switzerland
@@sub12airgunners hi jeff thank you very much for your answer, i own a brk ghost and have also made more than 20000 of shots, at the beginning i could shoot hole in hole at 15 meters but recently i can't do it anymore cleaned the barrel thought maybe it was because it could be a bit dirty but that wasn't the reason, i readjusted the scope and it's a little better but still not like it was at the beginning, that's why i have asked you if it could be that i've shot it so much that the o-rings need to be changed?
Nice vid Jake! I've gravitated away from 'bullpups' over the past year but my wallet's itching! I've seen a few of these at the range, and not a bad word so far 😊
Had one and returned it after two weeks. Mine suffered from the bronze sludge too and wasn't consistently accurate. But I have to say many things annoyed me, including how Brocock couldn't be bothered to straighten the regulator gauges, but FX do.
I nearly bought one of these , I was torn between the ghost and the Impact , in the end I opted for the impact for a couple of reasons , I too wasn't so keen on the trigger, and to cycle the rifle didnt feel as plush and agin the one I looked at had a good amount of play in the cocking mechanism , it did sound very twang-y / clattery .. I did like how it shouldered the feel and weight felt pretty good, I had ago with the double mag and found the opposite facing mag could fall out easy when pushing through from the other side , tho was empty when I was having a play maybe it works better when loaded .. I wasn't able to shoot it which was a shame .. I did think it was a nice rifle ..
I have the M3 and it is very slick but the ghost has a the one piece block and the solid barrel that's what sells it to me, i think both can be great guns 👍
That really is a nice piece of engineering. Very tidy valve design to look at. Will be interesting to see if the mechanism noise can be tamed, and that shot count is not the best for that size cylinder. Cheers for the video. 👍
Great vid again buddy , could you do a vid on how to do a power adjust on the ghost , a lot of us are buying second hand now they have been out a while , and how to decrease or increase of power would be a fantastic option for owners 👍
I really disliked the grip on mine, changed the grip twice before I was happy with mine, the initial trigger creep has improved no end after some adjustment and use. Really happy with mine.
Helllo, can you tell me how the barrel is held in place at the front end where it leaves the aluminium block and the shroud starts? There are no screws there, maybe an o-ring? Best regards, Jan
I do think the loose cocking lever should have been addressed across the Brocock range. I think it makes the cocking action feel a little cheap when cycling through the magazine
I've had mine for just over six months now and absolutely loving it. You're right about the cocking lever pin and play in the lever so looking forward to see what you can do to lessen that play. Glad you mentioned the pin, looks like I need to replace mine now. One thing I have noticed, when adjusting the trigger to try to improve it (as you mentioned), you need to be careful as I noticed with mine that the safety button can easily become useless and the rifle can fire in both fire and safe mode so check that after any adjustments. I've also been experimenting with the new type hybrid slugs and to my surprise it quite likes them. I've finally settled on ZAN 10g and 13g. (in .177). Really have been looking forward to your thoughts and work on this rifle. Keep up the good work 👍
Great video. I’ve had my ghost for 2 weeks and love it. Play in the cocking lever is driving me mad, so hopefully you can show us a fix. After giving my ghost .30 it's 1st day off shooting I have a few things to say. 1 is the cocking linkage which mine has been moved to left side loosens up the top dovetail rail bolt again & again. I have to keep a 3mm allen next to me when it gets loose. An obvious & easy fix is to use a partialy threaded bolt & NOT full threads on it is now. A partially threaded bolt with just enough threads to engage the reciever is what is needed. There is 0 reason to have that bushing riding on threads. If anyone knows were to get a bolt of factory leghnth & not full threads please let me know. Daystate/BRK actualy should offer this as it just should be this way & an easy fix if one had correct bolt. The trigger on mine has no creep but just to heavy. Many have done trigger jobs for competition & it can get way better. I did shoot a 7/8 " 5 shot group at 100 yds without any adjustments with jsb 44's. The trigger will need improved on mine to get to 1/2" at 100. Putting locktite or anything else on that linkage bolt seems not right when a proper linkage thru bolt is all thats needed.
