Great video thanks. Advanced Fighting Fantasy is a fantastic game. People are charging extortionate amounts for AFF products on ebay and amazon, but I hope your viewers are not fooled. The entire AFF range of printed books are available on drivethrurpg, for very reasonable prices. Postage from US is cheap aswell. Just thought I'd say. They produce the best rpg monster manuals in my opinion. There are 3 now. The latest, 'Return to the Pit' is a huge tome.
Nice vids! AFF is great.. and so many monsters in the various monster splatbooks. I started speeding up the combat by rolling both side's combat exchange dice all at once, including each's damage die just in case the respective roll hits. Such a dice hoarder, I easily had the 4 different colors required for that in the same size. Picked up the sci-fi version of AFF but haven't delved far into it yet. Have you checked out the new Talisman Adventures RPG yet? Just got the hardback in last week, and the system looks like it could be a nice fun fit. All the 3d6 rolls are by the player characters, and the monsters' special abilities are triggered or built up by your Kismet d6 rolling a 1 (and your own specials on a 6), aside from the actual test result and it's variable levels of success. Seems like bits of the AGE system, AFF, PbtA, and others were some inspiration and could move along well once you got things down. Some interesting classes/abilities, flavorful Follower rules, decent amount of monsters & some random tables included in fairly tight package for what you get. Thanks for the vid!
I dont know how i still keep hearing about stuff ive never heard of before, how old is this game system? The name got my attention due to the similarity to the title of Fighting Fantasy cyoa books he did also.
Hi Colaris. I haven't played D100 Dungeon. But this collects all the Fighting Fantasy system and Advanced Fighting Fantasy (including spells from Sorcery!) and makes it work really nicely together. However, it isn't a solo system by design.

Arion Games are bringing out a solo rulebook for this ( hopefully soon!) Can't wait to see your take on that. Love a bit of AFF. Very GB old school.

How does this compare to D100 Dungeon? I used to love the Fighting fantasy books as a kid!
