It's less for me to concentrate on 😆 I like focusing on one character, but they often end up with a companion or sidekick. I think I prefer that dynamic to 3 or 4 characters.
Thanks for the play-through! May I ask what battle map books you used throughout your play-through? They appear to be 2 different sizes as well? Thanks!
I used Little Book of Battle Mats (Towns & Taverns and Dungeon editions), two free RPG day maps from Heist at the Museum (also by Loke Battle Mats), and The Big Book of Battle Mats.
Hi Chuck. There is a ton of material in the core book and 19 monsters. The point-buy character creation is really neat and the rules are surprisingly detailed. It contains the rules from the original 3 AFF books (Dungeoneer, Blacksand and Allansia) and a simple dungeon generator. I think it's great for solo and Out of the Pit adds loads of monsters.
From what I understand 'Geas' is pronounced 'Guys' as in 'Oh You Guys' which is a compelled action🥰 Another great episode🥰🥰
That was fun. Existential Dread FTW!
Always enjoyable, thank you. You tend to roll a single hero for solo games, is that a deliberate choice over running a whole party? Why?

@@paultice Thank you for your quick reply with what you used for the map books!
@@davidk6269 No worries 🙂
Super cool Paul. I've been looking at AFF for a while now. Would you recommend it for solo play?

@@paultice And they currently have a KS going for a solo-specific supplement with lots of extra stuff.
Great session and I learned a bit more about the system. One day I will add it to my collection and give it a run.
