Would you grade a G. I. Joe Ryan is in the stock room today talking about his personal collection of GI Joe action figures from 1982 to 1994! Join us as we dive into the rich history of these beloved toys, exploring their unique features, memorable characters, and the impact they had on the world of action figures. A trade also comes in with some notable GI Joe figures like Maggot, Charbroil, and Steel Brigade. Ryan, Matt, and Andy discuss the many variants of Steel Brigade and which ones he still needs to complete his collection. Matt Gray is a regular at Toy Federation and a massive collector himself. He is known for having triples of everything he owns. He also travels for work and is always looking for good toy lots to buy. After he picks over what he wants he brings the rest up to Toy Federation. It works out great for us!
But that's not all! Prepare to be transported back to the 80s and 90s as we unveil two other must-have collectibles. First, we'll explore the awe-inspiring TMNT Technodrome, a massive playset that served as the villains' headquarters in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. We have gotten a lot of these in on trade lately. This is a nice Hull that we can build off of. You may remember the other technodrome we bought was sun faded on one side.
Also in this trade is a playlet based on the icy planet of Hoth. The Star Wars Micro Machines Hoth Playset. This playset includes the iconic Rebel base to the treacherous AT-AT walkers, it’s truly one of Ryan’s Favorite. Ryan being a huge fan of not only Star Wars but anything Micro Machines.
One of the GI Joe Vehicles is the Maggot. Which is a hard sell here at the store. The Maggot is a fictional vehicle from the GI Joe action figure line and its associated media. Introduced in 1987, the Maggot is a unique and distinctive vehicle used by the GI Joe team in their battles against the enemy organization known as Cobra.
We’ve got boxed TMNT playlets and vehicles. A teenage mutant ninja turtles wallet, no money included. A ton of loose GI Joe Vehicles and a surprising, Graded GI Joe Charbroil. Charbroil is a fictional character from the GI Joe action figure line and its associated media. He was first introduced in 1988 as part of the "Tiger Force" subset of GI Joe figures. Charbroil's primary role within the GI Joe universe is that of an infantry flamethrower specialist. Graded Action Figures is not something that comes into the shop too often. We’re also not sure why the person decided to Grade a Charbroil but none the less they did. Another weird item in this trade is the G.I. Joe Ice Cream Soldier. The Ice Cream Soldier is a fictional character from the GI Joe action figure line and accompanying media. Introduced in 1983, the Ice Cream Soldier is known for his unique and humorous code name. In the GI Joe universe, he is a member of the elite Special Missions Force tasked with combating the villainous organization known as Cobra. Is it a joke to you? Do you like it? There’s even some G1 Transformers in this lot!
Whether you're a dedicated GI Joe enthusiast, a fan of TMNT ( Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) , or a Star Wars aficionado, this video is a treasure trove of information and nostalgia. Join us as we celebrate the golden era of action figures, reliving the memories and rediscovering the magic that these toys brought to our childhoods.

Would you have a Charbroil graded? If not, who would you have graded?
Sure why not I have 1 I may be opening on card I should get it graded It's the red eye variant Charbroiled.
I would have your channel graded. clearly a 10.
Oh thanks so much!
hard pass on grading a charbroil lol
@@joewestcoast2565 ha. You sure!?
Ya know what I love about this Toy Federation channel? It's not just some collectors recording their vintage toys!
This channel is the "Pawn Stars television show" for action figure collectors. But waaaay better!
It's like being part of the team, working at the toy store. Love it!
I love when I see a vintage box with some old Christmas wrapping paper still attached.
Yep!
I never see you selling anything just buying things it would be interesting to see sales every once in awhile
Great video, so glad u guys decided to drop these videos weekly, it's great seeing u both go thru the stuff that comes in and figure out pricing or trade value or store credit, you guys r totally legit , I like how ur upfront, honest , but also give everyone a fair value that's A+ in my book, you all r good dudes. Keep the videos coming . Thanks again Enjoy the weekend
That’s always great to hear! Glad you’re with us!
I love the old Joe Commercials inserted. Well done!
Love the documentary style you all use in these videos. Good quality footage!
Thank you very much!
Costco has probably sold a billion of those storage containers.
I got mine at rural king. Honestly I prefer the older flimsier totes because they rarely break. Those ones with yellow lids are too ridged so they don't stress just break
They are LGBTQ containers now
Its so awesome to watch you guys work and I'm so glad I stumbled across this channel and always hyped to see more , greetings from a Dutch 90s/00s collector!
Oh wow! Dutch!? So cool!
Absolutely love the old advertising commercials. 🤘👍
We do too! What was your favorite from today? The Maggot commercial is fantastic!
Gotta love the GI Joe line.Such awesome toy's back then.
And today as well!
@toyfederation What do you think of the new Gi Joe series. Wasn't Gi joe rebooted in 2021 ??
@@kevinyoung9557 Was it? Loved the Renegades
Love this dude he always says something like " you know they just dont sale!" When hes buying something lol
man yall need a room with a big table like a boardroom meeting table to lay stuff out on but the floor works to i guess =)
I just got a MAGGOT with 5 W.O.R.M.S. probably one of my favorite cobra vehicles.
Also, this is genuinely one of the best channels on youtube.
That's awesome! And thank you so much for the compliment!
Love your channel especialy love watching people talk and sort GI Joe.
Box art from the 80s and early 90s was leaps and bounds better than what is put on the shelves today.
You might be right
I like carded figures but every Joe loose is a really excellent collection. Had no idea there were so many Joe variations. Always get a toy education with these videos.
Carded is always great, but 600 carded is a bit impossible for me.
I love it. My boys at work. Ryan and Travis are great. If you haven’t gone to Toy Fed, your missing out. These guys here are down to earth and awesome. If your in the SC Greer area, definitely check them out. The ranger inventory is fantastic
Thank you!
Oh Shoot!!!!…🎉 My newest Favoritist Channel!… I thought after getting a video 2 days ago I would have to wait a week for a new show! But Saturday Happiness! Just like Saturday morning cartoons!… Im Addicted to this channel! Can’t get enough!
That’s what we want! Addiction!
03:49 Gold. The FANG and Water Moccasin were two of my all-time favorites. The smaller size was a "big" factor.
Thank you for including close captions as an option.
You're welcome 😊
love how much content you crank out. Always have something to sit back and vibe too.
Thanks! Glad you're here!
That jerry curl mullet is glorious to behold
I love these videos, I'm going to through my storage and start up my collection again!
You should!
That rocket piece on that reissue tiger stripe tracked toy always breaks lol. I had two that same toy from when I was a kid and the hinges that hold the 4 red rockets piece seems to always break on both of mine. I really am enjoying the channel thanks!
Great job on the editing, blocking and framing of your videos. The videography, the camera angles, the focal length and the color grading are all top notch. It compliments the no-nonsense manner you guys conduct business. I only wish you all were here in Nashville!
We were in Nashville for ICCC! Have a video on that coming out soon!
Big fan of the channel guys, I always look forward to these Saturday episodes. Much love from Scotland!
Much love back to you from the states!
Its always cool to see all the G.I.Joe collections people bring in.
We get a lot!
Nice G.I. Joe collection there. It's not my favorite, but I saw a couple toys I used to have. I had a version of that Cobra trailer, but it had the alternate color scheme with some kind stripey camo.
Char-broil looks familiar too.
Another great episode. Felt like i woke up on Saturday to watch my favorite show. Wait, i kinda did!
Love hearing that! Thank you so much.
Great video as always!
Thank you for that!
The moray and the terror drome were the last large vehicles I received as gifts from the GI Joe line. Moray was based partially on a Navy SEAL boat (Mark something or other), but I do not believe that it had the hydrafoils. The basic shape and large amount of firepower is similar though. Definitely a fun vehicle because that and the WHALE were both in that Millennium Falcon range, vehicle and almost a mini playset. Numerous figures could fit on each. Thanks for another fun to watch episode. I am counting the days til I head back to the upstate of SC so I can visit the store.
Yep we have several of those hulls in the back!
Another awesome trade with a terrific vid!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Love the channel! I have a suggestion if you’re open to it. I love watching those old toy commercials, maybe make the television bigger so it fills up more the screen so we can see it better.
Can’t wait for the next episode
The quality is so poor on those commercials that you can't make it bigger. We are already punching it up 3 or 4 times.
Might be some legal aspects also so thats why it's formatted that way? Js
why is almost every customer have those same black and yellow totes? 🧐
They sell them everywhere. And they stack nicely
Im at the point where I prefer loose complete figures. They are easier to find and cost less, plus you can still display and pose them.
Love the Toy Federation love the videos some more then other.
🎶 Cobra flies the Mamba, Breaker on the radio...we built this city for Rock N Roll🎶
Ha!
Question. When you get all the different GI Joe versions, are you gonna display or sell them as one big lot? Love your channel
It’s my private collection
I been working on a carded GI Joe Collection so far have 28 on card started last year.
Wow! What figures?
@@toyfederation 1985 Airtight, 1983 Snake Eyes, and 2 1988 Snake Eyes version 3s, 1987 Battle Armor CC, 1985-86 General Hawk v1, 1985-86 Lady Jaye v1, 1985-86 Lifeline v1, 1985 Bazooka, 1985-86 Mainframe, Scoop, Backblast, Crystal Ball, Tele-Viper, 1987 Chuckles, Nightviper, Lightfoot, 2 Charbroileds, Quick Kick, Tigerforce Dusty, Slaughters Marauders Footloose, and Mutt and Junkyard, Python Patrol Officer, Python Patrol Trooper, and Python Patrol, 1985-86 Tele-Viper, and Python Patrol Copperhead, Deepsix v2, Metal Head v1, Ninja Force TJ Bang. ALL on Card.
Amazing! Great scores!
I AM looking for a Slaughters Marauders Sgt. SLAUGHTER On card it keeps eluding me. Everytime I go to buy it its gone.. It's a grail item on my list I NEED. Was a favorite figure of mine as a kid. I have 3 loose but need 1 on card.
@@toyfederation Thanks it's been pricey but fun.
OMG I'm drooling, just a little though. What a find. 😯
Ha! Drooling huh?
Lol these guys weren’t really that impressed with it at all
@@toyfederation Just a little. 😉
Holy cow, thats the most yellowed gijoe snowcat I've ever seen, its going to need to soak under a uv light for another 10 years to be white again. Btw, I love how happy you get when you see cool toys. If you ever need a G1 transformers expert, feel free to shoot me a question.
Awesome!
Another banger video 👍🏻
Thank you Thank you!
The more I see these vintage Joes, The more I want to get back into collecting them.
Do it!
I got back in, make sure your wallet is ready ;) but it is fun reliving the memories
Napoleon dynamite a serious collector
Vote for Pedro’s G.I.Joe collection😝👍🏻
i swear to god I would love to go to this store!
What book are you guys looking in for verifying your Joe collection? Im curious about getting one, is there a bunch of books depending on the years in question or is there one big book that has everything from the beginning of the 3.75 (1/18) scale to mid to late 90s? Or is that a trade secret thing?

Thank you!
That's what i like longer vids !
This video is shorter than last weeks 🤣
@@toyfederation Hey just keep them cumming yeah!? lol 😂
You guys need to do videos on a daily basis
Sure, but you would have to bring in captivating trades every single day for us to film!
@@toyfederation I’m in Oklahoma bit of a drive every day
As a toy collector especially GI Joes. I will never understand why people spend money on common graded toys. I get uncommon or especially rare figures. But common is a total waist of money. I will never buy them unless they are the same price as non graded and that never happens to me.
It's fun to see old stuff from your childhood but It's all a waste of money... why do you think everyone "resells" ? Whoever ends up holding them/stuck with them at the end is just stuck with worthless plastic for nostalgia but 0 actual value.
I need to visit this store . Where is it at ?
Yes you do! Greer, SC
Keep ‘em coming
Will do! What's your favorite episode so far?
@@toyfederation dragonfly episode.
Oh yea? People seem to love that one. Is it the building of the dragonfly that you like?
Those are ID self creator mail orders with the patches. Supposed to be a Joe of the buyer.
You checked off minuet things you wanted on the fig but ends up the figs were all the same with slight variations in colors and weapon’s etc…
sweet vid we need more joe videos yo joe
Well we have a ton for you so far!
this channel is getting dangerous for me, keep reminding me of old toys I had that i forgot about, first it was those metal micro machine like army vehicles and now it's the mini hoth cave playset. Love all the Joe love though
You need to come in and get some toys! Haha
@@toyfederation i've got retrocon on my calendar and a pin on a google map for your store next time we head that way :)

So real! 10 wheel!
1:17 What is that Halloween Michael Myers big box item?
I got the MAGGOT for Christmas one year. I've always loved it. Maybe just too many were made? Who knows?
Maybe it didn’t get screen time in the show
@@toyfederation Yeah, maybe, but aren't there other Joe vehicles that didn't that don't suffer this sane fate? I'm no expert when it comes to Joes, really.
@@superquad7 It would be a good video to explore for sure.
What is the title of that Joe catalog book?

just 82-87 ..,.with a small handful from 88 and 89
Another great video, one of the reasons I like your content is you're not putting it on, just seems to be yourself regardless if camera was on
I appreciate that!
Think so too. Ryan seems unfazed by the camera. It’s nice and doesn’t feel weird. Can just focus on the toys.
Like this channel a lot!
I’m glad my favorite vehicles are the flight pod ,hiss ,rattler …not the super expensive stuff…….and that jeep thing
What jeep thing do you speak of?
Dang I kinda wanted to see what that guy got with the $900 store credit 😂
Beanie babies
Yup!!!!
Tmnt is all i collect now but here in Scotland we dont really have many places like your store outside of cons and toy meets its pretty dry would love to visit your store i dont think I'd leave though 😂 much respect from bonnie Scotland.
Our cinematographer would love to get some foreign carded TMNT from you!
@@toyfederation I'd love them all carded too 😂 only thing I hated about the UK version was they are hero turtle's as the word ninja was apparently too violent !.

Wonder if anyone can comment. Are the price of all toys going down the way the price of Joes 33/4 are goin down? Thanks
Just depends on the toy.

Possibly!
I'm interested in buying some GI Joe's how do I get ahold of you
Come into the store!
Do you have a website? I'm in a wheelchair and live far away from you
Unfortunately we do not
There are people already grading the gi joe classified series……the grading stuff has gotten kinda ridiculous IMO and it’s not my kind of collecting …….your grading something that’s brand new 😂 I wonder what kinda score it’s going to get
I get it when it’s a system that is used properly
Shouldn’t even be allowed to grade something that isn’t 20 years old …..I feel like there should be a set of rules to it?
You might be right.
Bro I will come to your store one day. Do you carry any third party transformers or SH Figuarts DragonBall Z??
Yep we have an earlier video about one
I have a 98% complete vintage Masters of the universe collection. Everything is loose but nothing is missing except for two cardboard pieces of original gray skull castle and the small gray gun that goes to the gray skull castle but all figures and vehicles and other castles are complete but loose. I do have bionatops unopened in the box and scubaTac unopened in the box and tower tools unopened in the box and cliff climber also unopened in the box but everything else is loose but complete. I've always wanted to sell the whole collection as a whole but never really knew where to take it. And yes I also have eternia which is complete but a few of the end track pieces have broke off but the broken pieces are still there and can be glued as I understand this is a common problem with the eternia playsets and it is not recommended to put them together if you still have one with unbroken track ends.Where are you guys located?
Be much cooler if those in box Lego wannabes were the Kreo GJ Joe line. Kreo ones were decent and more faithful to the original toys.
You're right!
Uh yuwp...uh yuwp...yuhp.
Charbroil was my first Joe to get killed every play session. I hated that ginger mofo.
Strong feelings!
