- We had our first real snow for the winter right before Christmas. I needed to get my driveway open and also clear a big drift from my neighbors drive. Winter weather is just another part of Life in the 906! #uppermichigan #snowstorm snowstorm #Kubota
You have some fine equipment Mike. Keep the lady safe
Thank you.
Hello there, I'm from Central lower Michigan and want to say you made a great video
Thank you John I appreciate that.
Nice of you to help your neighbor, we didn’t hardly get any snow south of Ann Arbor
I think we got all the snow up here! Thanks for watching Oldtimer.
Aweeee yesssss snow removal in the 906!!! Dude, that machine makes short work of that!!!! Good to see ya mike, hope alls well in your neck of the woods!!💚🌳👍👊🌳💚
Thanks brutha!
Glad you have the equipment to handle that weather . I know your neighbor appreciated you coming over and doing that !!
She does most of her own snow removal but when the drifts get that deep she calls.
Go Pack Go
Looking forward to nect year. Nice job helping out the neighbor.
Thanks Patrick. There is always next year.

@David Roger Sundquist Lions Packers whatever works for ya. But I'm gonna stick with the Packers 🤣
Got a nice drift there, momma will be happy
Nice Kubota buddy ! Good for you on keeping the driveway cleared for your wife. 👍🏻
Take care !
Thank you sir. It's been a great tractor. She really appreciated the snow being taken care of when she got home from a 12 hr midnight shift.
Nice blower on the tractor, you can move a ton of snow with that. Alway nice to help out people. We got lucky with that storm, we had the wind but the snow did not drift much.
Thanks Larry. I didn't here the total of snow we got. But whatever it was the wind was pretty crazy.
Ah yes......the "I'm stuck phone call"!!! Good to be proactive, Mike!
Hi John. Yeah try to avoid the I'm stuck calls whenever I can.
Wow! That nice tractor with the fancy cab and that nice blower takes all the fun out of moving snow. You gotta miss the wind and snow in your face !
Haha. I don't miss it one bit. Thanks Keith.
Hi Mike we didn’t get it to bad down here with that storm. I had to use the snowblower but mine you have to walk behind. I love it when the snow blows back into my face. Said no one ever. Take care bud.
Yep snow in the face makes ya wanna move south!
Great job!
Thank you.
The Kubota made quick work of those driveways! I bet you were saying to yourself the whole time “I’m glad I have a cab“👍🏻👍🏻-TOA
I sure was Todd. The cab on the tractor makes snow removal so enjoyable!!
That snowblower really blows the snow! Great job Mike👍👍
Thanks Jeremiah
You put out great videos. Your relaxed ways make watching your videos so much more enjoyable. 👍
Thanks Rick. I really appreciate that.
Love watching anything from the UP... I lived in Iron Mountain in the mid 80's and sure do miss it up there!!!! BTW what's with the Packer's flag?? ha ha Thanks!
Thanks Bill. Life long Packers fan here!
That Kubota sure chewed thru those drifts and snow. Right tool for the right job I guess.
That was descent of you helping out your neighbor clearing her drive. I know a walk behind could have eventually opened it but in those winds??? Hope ya got some Xmas cookies out of it.😄🎁
She is very independent but ever now and again she calls for help.
Great neighbor you are Mike !!I’m sure moving those drifts was much appreciated. Important to have the right equipment for the job. Hope you better half made it home ok! Stay warm up there buddy ❄️🔥🚜👍👏🇺🇸 Rick
Thanks Rick. Yep she got in no problem.
Like the front mount blower.
Thanks . I really like it although sometimes I miss having the loader on the front.
Nice video Mike, we don't see you too much moving snow. Be safe and enjoy your week.
Thanks Mike.
Yeah hey Mike that road does look crazy, you must be off 28? I have family in Chatham/rock river
Trenary and rudyard
The wind was blowing so hard before Christmas I thought for sure that we were going to lose power but luckily we never did! 😅🌬💨
That is actually 41 South. I lost power twice Christmas eve.
When you live in the 906 you need some serious equipment and you have it brother! I remember that weekend well. Was even a nasty one down here in WI. Thanks for the video, enjoyed!
Thanks Mark. The wind was crazy and persistent for at least 24 hrs
As a fellow yooper, Christmas Eve got wild. I transitioned down to just keeping the firehall and manor open in case of emergency. I don't know if any firefighters could have made it, but the hall was open.
Yep it got a bit crazy.
Nice equipment! Making snow fly while warm & dry. I have not experienced that, just a loader here.
The heated cab is so nice. Both in summer and winter. Thanks Larry
I'm so glad I got the cab on my kabota .imagine how bad that would suc without it. Ya know in those small towns people are gonna talk with you coming out of the neighboors drive at 6am while wifes at work lol good video mike.springs coming
The cab is awesome for the winter! 4 short months spring will be here
Looks like snow blower is pretty much a must have in your area. My old man grew up in Minnapolice . When I was a kid I remember him talkin about not missin the snow & cold of winter , he met mom in Yellowstone park after war, she saw what winter was like in Minnasota they decided to raise their family in willamette valley w/45 " of rain a year, old man said he didn't mind rain as much as snow & cold of winter in Minn.
I always say I'll take snow over rain any day. Thanks Dan.
The wonders of winter.Think spring .
I'm already thinking about swatting mosquitoes 😁
Mosquitoes don't eat much
Man that blower is nice!!!!
Thanks Chris.
hello from Grand Rapids Michigan
Hey Michael. Good morning from the UP
where bouts in UP are you from
@@michaelvantuinen503 Central UP south of Marquette
When I was a lot younger I used to wish I lived in the U. P. area but now that I’m older and hopefully wiser I’m thankful that never happened cause I would be yet another person out snow blowing and or shoveling all that snow just like you.😅
Moving snow is definitely part of life here in the UP!
awesome video, send some of that down state. people down here would think the world is coming to a end with snow like that, makes me laugh. they wouldn't know what to do. i'd give anything to have a big storm down here, love winter. wish i was up at camp
Did you get much snow down your way around Christmas?
Nope maybe 2 inches we had 45-50 mile winds just blew it all around been in mid 50’s ever since
nice going
Thanks William
That is a slick set for snow removal
Thanks Bill
Great video. I plow/blow off a state hwy. I bought a cheap strobe light for cab roof Helps to be seen even more than just with hazard lights
That's a good idea. I may look into that .
ya, great music video! play some rap next time yo!
@@mrbubetube To each their own!
That’s awesome. What part of the 906? We spend summers in the Detour, Drummond area absolutely love it up there.
Thanks Chris. I'm in Marquette county.
I have never figured why people have the end of there blower shooting snow up in the air. The end of my shoot blows the snow back toward the ground away from where i have plowed. Has a lot less snow blowing back in my face. I have no cab and 3/8 mile driveway. But it's your video and I like to watch others Stay Safe
The angle of my blower is set at a higher angle to put the snow farther from the driveway. I don't worry about snow in my face with the cab on my tractor. Thanks for watching Eldon.
Life is easier with a plugged in diesel 😁A happy wife and neighbor…. you’re good to go 👍
It sure does. Thanks Dave.
Oh yeh, fired right up, eh.
Yes sir. Thanks for watching Mike.
Down in Ohio we really only had a week of winter so far ! Knock on wood if you ever heard that expression before .
I've used that expression more than once! Hope winter is nice to us this year.
👋🏻
Hey Eddy
What part of upper Michigan? I live in Hurley Wisconsin across the river from ironwood Michigan. yeah the storm during Christmas with pretty decent. I have most definitely seen worse though...
I'm in the central UP. Marquette area. Yep 20 years ago the storms seemed much bigger. Thanks for watching.
@@Lifeinthe906 I lived in munising Michigan for a while with my first wife... Yes you're welcome I enjoyed the video
Can't remember the last time I slept past 5 a.m.
I work 12 hour swing shift. Half the time I don't know weather it's day or night. Or if I should be awake or sleeping! 😂
Have to get that driveway clean, need someone to make bacon and eggs!
Yes sir.
Is that high way 2
US 41
Just curious is that M28
Hey Jeff. It is US 41.
