I understand the thinking pattern, but "in my day" if you didn't check the oil and water before you hit the starter, you were sent down the road lookin' for another job.
@@swampen85 It didn't matter, all the bells whistles and lights still does not remove looking at a dipstick not just for oil level, but for oil color and looking in the radiator tells you not just level, but is there oil in the coolant.
The post office stopped delivering this year, so most of the mailboxes came out. I hit a 4x4 post, I heard it but didn't see where it went and it didn't sheer a pin.
@@irontrails906 I worked for PennDot in the 80's and early 90's, they used to have me ride shotgun in an OskKosh Blower with an Old Man to keep him awake, one night he sucked up a dead dog that hadn't frozen yet, he was pretty rattled until I came back and told him it was a dog. They eventually took him off blowers when he drove by a house and took all the front windows out of it not adjusting his chute, the couple were at home too, blew the wife right out her chair, glass and snow everywhere, the old boy has probably been gone for years now.
If you get enough snow, you eventually reach a point during the winter that you no longer have room to plow the snow. May not happen where you are, but there are plenty of places where it does.
A neighbor shares in the plowing. But we have to keep the banks cut back and two lanes open for UPS to visit. And the U.P. isn't known for cheap fuel - at least I can run off road in it...
Nice buy on the unit. That has been well looked after.! That will out last you and your great-great grandkids! Thanks for showing it !
Outstanding video Sir 👌👌😇😇👍👍🍻🍻
What a machine! Looks like a fun. Thanks for sharing.
Oh a heated enclosed cab.....ENVY!!!....nice find use her in good health!
Love this beast. Makes my JD 1025r with a 56” blower on the front look like a tonka toy. I could clear my 600’ driveway in 5 minutes with that beast!!
Nice I bet you watched tool time with Tim Taylor.
So a Yellow Dinosaur who lived and thrived in the wee Arctic Past has been found to not have gone extinct, exciting^^
I want one. We don't get that much snow and my driveway is only 100 feet long. I just WANT one. Cool video thankx
What ever it cost to get that Baby it was worth every penny !!!!!!!!
Sweet.... Now that is the only way to move snow.
great camera work
That is a beast
Nice blower!
Excellent content! Really hate the fisheye lens though.
Nice setup
that thing is absolutely terrifying when its driving at the cameraman just wow....
Biodiesel? I knowbio doesntcold but afuel tank heater? Can you .make it athome?
Where and how did you buy that thing. It is awesome.
Got it on Auction from the Harrisburg International Airport.
@@irontrails906 Figured airport from the size and large numbers on it
Hope the neighbors chip in for expenses and maintenance ! How many inches of snow have you gotten this year ?
They do split costs. Mr. Plow saves everyone time. We have had 229 inches of show this year so far.
What a beast!!!
California could have used this beast this winter.
Yeah that's for sure. Pot holes the size of vw bugs from skip loaders plowing the roads.
Honestly I thought CLICKBAIT!! But dad gummer what a rig!!! Great video!!👍👍👍👍👍😁
Thanks 👍That's probably what the neighbors thought too.
What a Beast!
Cool toy👌🤗✌️
As I tell my wife every time she complains about it in the side yard, it is a tool!😅
I understand the thinking pattern, but "in my day" if you didn't check the oil and water before you hit the starter, you were sent down the road lookin' for another job.
It problaby has control lights and gates for both oil pressure and water temperature! You can relaxe!

That was in your day. Times have changed
@@kenlevesque8150 wrong dead wrong a truck these days 60 k to 100k You check the oil period.
I always check my oil and water when I finish, file as needed, then. Unless you have massive leaks ( which you should know), you're always good to go.
Michigan ........ They know how to blow snow. (No pedestrians please)
Do residents with roadside mailboxes have a marker stick attached that can be seen when the snow piles up? Has the blower ever eaten a mailbox?

How efficient is the operation of this snow blower!
I assume you're asking about fuel efficiency? That will be something to cover in an upcoming video when the season numbers are all in.
Where did that snow blower come from? Was the one built by Wenbergs? Sincerely, Richard Goodman
It is a Idaho Norland, and it spent it's serviceable life in Pennsylvania at the Harrisburg International Airport.
Probably has a Detroit or Cat C-11 motor, which are around 400-430 Hp.
Listening to it, sounds like a Detroit.
It is a Cat 3406B driving the blower.
I want this in a zombie apocalypse!
Agreed, very cool toy that you could make some money with if you really wanted to.
Should be called.......Mr. Blow!
Haha. Not sure I want the kids announcing that to their friends 😆
I'd love to hve 1 here in m.n give my big j.d. a break 😅

That machine looks dangerous
Hope your getting a little cash from the other folks on the road!
We have a road fund that everyone pays into.
I could do the job with a plow a 1 10th the diesel although you are prolly having a lot more fun.
How many passes are required to clean the whole width?
One trip down and one trip back. An hour total with warm up and cool down time...
If you get enough snow, you eventually reach a point during the winter that you no longer have room to plow the snow. May not happen where you are, but there are plenty of places where it does.
Anybody parking on Street will have the car buried under snow
Diesel must be cheap to run a 500hp instead of a plow with 1/4that power, but then you end up with snow banks that will cause snowdrifts. Can’t win.

Really don't like the fisheye lens
To not see the end result is kinda useless for us viewers
truck is way to big and takes way to long. having to stop and turn the chute. sometimes to big is to much and this is.
Around these parts go big or go home is the motto...
Clean off your windshield
Kinda boring, can't see the road, blurry screen, can't see the result.
Zzzzzzzz
it does not have a rotating chute that i can see .why?
I'm guessing it didn't need one for airport duty. The chute can go from left to right - but it is not set up to load trucks.
@@irontrails906 thanks for the reply
how long is your driveway or road?how many acres do you own?
The road is about 1.25 miles.
