INSANE Snowmobile Trip in a BLIZZARD (Munising, MI) (PERFECT TRAILS)

- We took a trip up to Munising, MI in early February and got caught in an awesome blizzard. This was the best snowmobile trip I've been on since getting into the sport, and I am glad I was able to capture some of it. We ended up with 170 miles this day, and right around 300 including the first night (about a day and a half of riding). Unfortunately I didn't get a ton of great riding footage, but this is the best stuff I came up with.
If you haven't rode in munising, I highly recommend it! I'd go back 100 times out of 100.
Thanks for watching.
Sorry about the crappy quality at times. - Авто та транспорт
I love watching this video
I remember snow, looked like a great day. I agree the old SDI was an amazing motor, my wife’s had almost 10k when we sold it back in 2015.
looks like fun. cant believe ive rode those trails, and that area way back in 2001. i feel so old. lol
Had to sell my sled this year because of back issues, 45 years on a sled and now I'm done, makes me sick 😫 but one spinal fusion 9 years ago and now waiting on a second one. Stay safe out there and have fun
So sorry to hear that man.
I love the part about you keeping up with the 850 and tuned sled. Lol
We used to stay at the Holiday INN off 28, but they didn't have trails nearby when it was built. Got pulled over a few times trying to get to the trail. Happy Sledding!
Great snow storm always like the trails in a storm like this - however it's not a Blizzard...
Looks awesome just waiting for snow if we get any this year 2024
Me too man… in the meantime I am about to post another sweet ride from last season…
thats a 170 miles of some good stuff/// great video thankyou
yes sir it was great! thanks!
Love the video I just found your channel
Did you go to Thunder Bay ? To ride the Luge , 18 miles of one way trails , like a divided Highway ! Balls out ! Speed runs ! At the end , single trail leads to Munising , also at the end of the Luge , 9200 acre Pine Tree Plantation , don’t park next to a Pine Tree there ! You sink 10 feet when you go to start off again
That sounds awesome!!! Next time for sure.
Nice vid. I remember riding a ton of miles in the Munising area….and in conditions like this. Next time you go to Munising, IF the ice is good, ride out to Grand Island…. Nice trails on the island, and a nice loop trail that goes around the entire island… Awesome views on the north side of the island…. You said the trails were perfect…. From what you captured, they looked kinda bumpy to me…. Best trail conditions are during the week, after they groom them….
Sounds awesome. The trails were perfect in my eyes haha, yeah they were bumpy but nothing as bad as some trails I rode this season. I love it up there and can't wait to go back some day. This footage is from a Monday. Thanks for the comment!
I love riding the U.P.
Those phono connectors are a PITA. I started to make some magnetic nes but the connectors areVERY expensive.
Those trail bridges always appear narrower at advanced speeds.
Fantastic
Was that the skidoo dealership in wetmore? My buddy lives about three blocks from there, and I just got home yesterday from there myself. Went to foggy’s for supper over in Christmas. Love sledding the munising area.
Love the trails. Great video.
That was renze powersports, pretty sure it was in munising? We also went to Foggy's, super good place. Thanks for the comment!
@@bootley9608 absolutely. Can’t be beat in the Midwest. I like Hurley too. I’ve got a friend who lives in Montreal. Right next door.
Headed back in ten days myself.
Have a good and safe rest of your season, guys.
@@bootley9608 they are one of the WORST Ski-Doo dealerships around. They have improperly "fixed" two of my sleds thus year.
Glad you had a good time but those people are just a holes and incompetent
I went out in the blizzard last night it sucked cause I couldn’t see good
We always covered our sleds at night.
not a bad idea! we didn't have an enclosed trailer at the time otherwise we would have put them in there.
Ah man what I would pay for weather like this now. This winter sucks.
same I live in Michigan near Cadillac and their ain't enough snow
@@theLyzhendricks I’m in mi too midland. But yea idk if I can keep putting money into this sport. It’s just not like it used to be.
@@kwadlife4106 well idk about all that I'm about to. Uy my first sled but I'm hoping for more snow
This winter (11 months ago). What about NOW 12/2023? 🤦♂️
@@glenerickson358 yea I didn’t get a new sled this year. I think I’m done. If I do go I’m just gonna rent a sled.
Hey dude! Nice video. Hope to bring the wife up there next season. Just a thought. I have my go pro in my helmet. Can't see as good where you have it. No prob. Just thought I would let you know. Not wrong, just different.
Where do you mount yours? I used a chin mount. My GoPro also has a worse POV than the newer ones, as it's just a hero 3.
I mount mine on top of my helmet.
700 triple let's go, LMAO I could outrun you on a 340 fan. Looks like a beautiful day for a ride tho.
Where did you stay where did you ride thanks for the vid Joe
We stayed at the holiday inn express in munising. Rode all around the general area from the hotel. Super awesome area.
Still snowing
Do you upload your videos from you phone? Or computer?
I do all of my editing and uploading on my computer.
To flat come ride up here in Canada in the mountains but u need better sled your will not work
Correction. On my helmet.
The music junked another video 👎👎👎👎💩💩😬😬
