    This is definitely super useful. So, the concept of pushing seems easy when it's a 1v1. How do you know when to push when you have a trios squad holding different angles on you? Do you push if you get the crack on one enemy? Do you full send on the one as a team or does one push and the other two teammates try to fight off the other two enemies? I'm sure the answer is very dependent on the situation

    • @innocentfps3301
      @innocentfps3301 2 роки тому +12

      If they're too scattered and have good angle its hard, but if 1 of them is out of position thats when to push as three and turn em down 1 by 1.

    • @Shakura8

      This is why Bloodhound is so OP, revealing the enemy position so you can make easy decisions how to push a cracked enemy out of 3.
      I main Rampart and the amount of patience (or the time need to decide to push) I need in order to push is crazy, so I always carry some nades and play alot with covers..

    good video for beginners, not sure it entirely translates to actual game fights every time, but def a good way to learn the basics. huge flip side is if ur the one that got cracked and are being pushed in that last stage, sometimes instead of batting you can ego chal and catch the opponent in a really bad spot pushing in the open =free beams/easy down or atleast then u traded damage and u might have deterred the push on u allowing a reset
    honestly the fights in apex are so dynamic bc of so many variables, the more fights u get into is the only way to truly understand how to push and win fights, but this is the general concept ... outdamage and be decisive

    • @Dazs

    My issue is that a lot of the time I'll be between phase 2 and phase 1, and rather than taking cover to heal, my opponent will swing in the open on me while I'm reloading and pushing up to the next spot and shred me. I'm not sure how to handle this and I notice in plat and diamond lobbies it happens a lot. I had a string of 5 games where I'd be in a 1v1, deal 70+ damage and take none, go to swing, and my opponent just doesn't heal and I'm mid-reload.

  • @apexlegendsseniorcitizen2166
    @apexlegendsseniorcitizen2166 2 роки тому

    You used wraith tactical, one of the better legends to reposition at 6:30. In a situation like that, most legends can not do what you did. It’s situations like that where I find myself dying with revenant / valk. I can’t just fly away with valk I’ll get shot in the air and die. I usually try to pop a cell and circle around that box for cover and hopefully down them.

    • @Dazs
      @Dazs  2 роки тому +1

      That is why you play to your legends strengths and know their weaknesses. I am positive we could make hours upon hours of scenarios. But if positioning was bad. Holding and seeing if your opponent will run out of cover is a solid plan to catch them out of position.
      Its a game of chess at that point.
      Did I do enough damage to stop them?
      Did they counter with stronger damage?
      What utility so I have?
      What was my exit strategy if things went wrong?
      Last resort do I swing to catch them in the open?
      Are my teammates near to cover while I pop a counter battery?
      This is where I find Apex so exciting is this level of detail in play. If you think like this for each scenario and can do it quickly. This is the game sense you are seeking.
      And keep in mind due to zone, damage done, positioning, and resources, within seconds a plan can change for the better or for the worst!

  • @zsideswapper6718

    Solo no-filling trios, try to deal the highest damage possible while trying to take the least possible. Trains both movement and positioning.

    This is definitely a great attempt to teach positioning, but static training only does so much. I recommend players learn positioning while playing - specifically learn positioning during a “lost” game. Both teammates need banners recovered, instead of running or fighting, run to the banners and run away. You’ll learn a lot because you’ll be thinking on your feet and be able to apply positioning under stress
