Those poor unfortunate souls
So sad, so true
They come flocking to my cauldron
Crying, "Spells, Ursula, please!"
And I help them!
Yes I do
Now it's happened once or twice
Someone couldn't pay the price
And I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals
Yes I've had the odd complaint
But on the whole I've been a saint
To those poor unfortunate souls
You'll have your looks, your pretty face.
And don't underestimate the importance of body language, ha!
The men up there don't like a lot of blabber
They think a girl who gossips is a bore!
Yet on land it's much prefered for ladies not to say a word
And after all dear, what is idle babble for?
Come on, they're not all that impressed with conversation
True gentlemen avoid it when they can
But they dote and swoon and fawn
On a lady who's withdrawn
It's she who holds her tongue who get's a man
Come on you poor unfortunate soul
Go ahead!
Make your choice!
I'm a very busy woman and I haven't got all day
It won't cost much
Just your voice!
You poor unfortunate soul
It's sad but true
If you want to cross the bridge, my sweet
You've got the pay the toll
Take a gulp and take a breath
And go ahead and sign the scroll
Flotsam, Jetsam, now I've got her, boys
The boss is on a roll
This poor unfortunate soul
Thank you so much ❤
Thank you!!!!!
Quite a voice! Quite a TALENT!
Total respect to Drew Sarich
Thanks for sharing this performance.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
HOLY SHIT! I love this man so much and hearing him sing in English (despite it being his native language) is such an interesting and wonderful experience! He's amazing and he would be such a fantastic Ursula on stage!
Born in 1986, grew up with the animated version..... KILLED IT
absolutely FABULOUS performance . Drew Sarich and the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra -hats off to you. Truly captured the true essence of Ursula. I cant stop smiling at this!
That voice is just perfection. This performance is a masterpiece
I am sure that Howard Ashman was smiling down from Heaven that evening. Well done, Mr. Sarich. You did Howard's lyrics justice. Gosh, how I love all the songs Howard and Alan wrote together for Disney. How lucky to have grown up with these riches!
keep watching it over and over. the WHOLE PERFORMANCE is PURE GOLD.
He is the best Ursula i’ve ever seen… Bravooooo
I cant count how many times ive watched this performance. Drew and the Orchestra did an amazing job on this. Deserved a standing ovation 👏👏👏

ursula always has been and always will be a drag queen.

@@pjkings5686 Clemens Unterreiner. Austrian Opera singer.
it’s a ritual now to watch this at least once a day…perfection
This, my friends, is show in its best. Pure perfection in all ways. No words.
Drew Sarich slayed this for all eternity!
Love this …. Went to college with Drew …. His voice his voice his voice !
I find myself coming back to this performance over and over.. the best i've seen yet...
I love this omg, I've never thought of Ursula as a drag queen, but now everything makes SO much sense 🤯
Ursula was based on the drag queen - Divine. But Drew is a theater actor, not a drag queen. Still... he's fabulous.
@@HouseTargaryen24601 Wow I had no idea, great to know!
In Latin America the voice was by a Drag Queen and she appeared on the credits as Serena Olvido her Drag name ❤
Had the honor to see him perform this in German at Disney in Concert in Hamburg, it was amazing !!!
Artistic creativity, gives the goosebumps, doesn't judge, this is true artistic perfection in many ways
The ‘yeah I do’ and the laugh at the beginning of drew singing is beautiful
I am a new fan of Drew Sarich after this video. I watched it like 4 times already and I keep coming back.
I literally couldn't tell that it was Drew until he hit the high notes... his voice is so unique but also so versatile, I love it.
